Frankly, I'm not even going to mention the two hour waiting time for our food, because this restaurant already sent out rude and extremely unprofessional responses to the other reviews. Completely disregarding the waiting time, the staff was very unorganized. Even if we did not order a prefixed menu, you should be able to tell us if you have an item or not. Is it really necessary to wait an hour before telling us that you don't have something? It is your job as a restaurant to hire a group of proper staff. And don't blame the waiting time on the amount of people, because the group of 4 next to us received their food at the exact same rate that we did. There is no reason that you should have a 4.6 star rating, when there are restaurants with lower ratings than that doing MUCH more.
Also, regarding the disgusting review responses you guys sent out, do better. Are you, as a full fledged business, really mocking and attacking a group of teens who simply wanted to have an enjoyable birthday? If you want to expect better ratings, DO BETTER . You cant attack every person who dislikes their experience and expect your...
Read moreService was good and friendly. Front dining room was nice... Oddly, we were only ones in restaurant but were seated in the back atrium room which was not that nice. Figured they expected more diners who would be seated in the front. We were there for an hour and a half and only one other seating and they were right next to us. I guess it's a bad sign if it's a Friday night and there's only two tables seated. The food was incredibly disappointing. One of my most disappointed meals in a long long time. Based on reviews we ordered the recommended lamb baklava and the calamari for appetizers. Both not very good. For entree, the fillet and manti. Filet was ok. Manti not good and some of the dumplings were cold. Based on the reviews here I was really expecting a much better experience I'm not sure...
Read moreWe were looking for a Mediterranean place between us and our NYC friends and Edgewater was the right location. We got even luckier when we found Rebecca’s. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented and tasted sublime. We had the falafel, hummos, and greek salad as appetizers and the Bronzino and salmon entrees, and the chicken special for two of us (stuffed with mashed potatoes and something else I don’t recall, that wasn’t my entree but my friends loved it). The service was attentive and elegant (I do love a new fork and knife when the entree arrives), the water and wine (BYOB) was kept full, and the servers noticed the little things (like replacing ice when it melted, for one of our friends who had requested it). The chef greeted us and it was an all around relaxing, welcoming experience. We will be back. Thank...
