Nail House 7 — Local services in Edgewater

Update: It's only been 3 days and the new UV gel was placed so thinly that it's already chipped, showing my natural nail underneath. Super disappointing....

First time customer after being a longtime customer of their neighbor / competitor. I don’t think this will be my new location sadly.

The ladies are super friendly and this location has its regulars already, you can tell from folks making their appointments for the week after as they’re already getting their nails done.

I asked for UV gel fill-in and the product used was an inferior Amazon brand vs the Brisa brand I usually get on my nails. The result is that you can tell it’s significantly thinner, and the opaque Polish showed this so she had to apply a glitter layer over it.

Sadly the shape is sooooo off and I asked multiple times for her to fix it and I think I’ll be going home to file it myself and round it out a bit more.

I would still recommend you try this location for regular Mani and Pedi as that’s what everyone was getting and they were packed ! Likely not for...

Walked in for sns nail and low and behold only like 4 to 6 colors and colors I usually never wear. Decided to go against my gut and give it a try. Started at a pedicure and by the time any one got to my nails, my gut said run out of this place! Nail lady kept trying to push gel mani instead of what I wanted and kept helping other people there and leaving me there. I decided to not get the sns done there and even then it looked like I upset her. She only got to file 1 hand and I left. A soak for the nails and a pedi should not take almost 2 hours. It just does not. If you are a regular there, they threat you nice, when you want to try it because your friends say it's great, they don't treat you the same. Had an absolutely horrific experience with Lisa. I asked her very specifically if she thought a regular manicure was the best option for me (because my nails were very thin). She insisted on me getting extensions. Mid way through, after she’d glued them on and had me sit under the UV she told me we must take them all off because one nail looked as though it had “fungus” under it. I consulted a doctor- NOT fungus. She proceeded to sand my nails, soaked them in acetone and I spent 2 hours here. My nails looked worse than when I arrived. She was very unapologetic, rude, and let me know the owner is on vacation and will not be available for my complaint. I will NEVER go back here nor would I...
