The garlic knots and cheese calzones are to die for. Noce's is one of those rare places where I can order and enjoy pizza without being sick for the next four days. I don't know if it's the thin crust or something else but I don't have a gluten reaction. And the cannolis are amazing. Fair prices, family owned and operated and you're supporting a local business. Highly recommend it. Those of you complaining maybe you're not use to new York style pizza or anything other than dough soaked in sause covered in so many toppings you end up eating a pound of meat instead of a pizza. Food is all a matter of taste, for example when i go.to mio's I know I'm after something close to lou malnati's or giordanos not thin crust. Noce's is thin crust big pie pizza which means it's floppy with a crust covered in flour and oil. Light on the toppings and sauce so it doesn't slide off when you pick it up. Maybe learn what the difference in pizza is and not accuse others of having no taste? We in no way know how to make pizza here in Cincinnati and the tristate, that doesn't mean I put larosa's down. I grew up on it after all, but now that I know what real pizza is you couldn't pay me to order it. Anyway I'm only saying everyone is different and taste are different, maybe expand...
Read moreI don't understand the point of ordering Noce, with so many pizza ordering options. Tried twice a few years apart and it was "eh" for kids, adults, sober, and not.
The last one is the kicker. If a pizza is mediocre-to-poor for multiple people after a couple pops, what are they doing with their pizza making life?
I'm using minor hyperbole here, but you get my point. Guys were nice when I walked in - respect for good attitude and I ordered online so that is convenient.
The place is far dirtier looking than it needs to be & I used to spend a solid amount of time in NYC each year eating pizza so the "NY style" rebuttal doesn't fly with me on taste or this. Coat of paint and a mop works wonders.
Distinctly overpriced for the value received. I can name several places similar or cheaper close by that are multiple levels of enjoyment better than here. I won't do that out of politeness, but you aren't taking a risk blindly guessing with a map and darts. Even if you don't hit a pizza restaurant, your odds are still good someone makes a mean pizza and will give a kind stranger a slice.
So yeah, wow until I wrote this down, I was going 3 stars. They're still here, but...
Read moreThe almost criminal, negative reviews on this outstanding example of good, hearty pizza joint in Northern Kentucky make me wonder where the world's taste buds have gone. My family, friends, co-workers and I share a Noce's meal almost weekly and quite frankly have never been anything but bewildered by its amazing taste and quality. After ordering a pie for lunch today at work, my co-worker and I were left with our bellys full and smiles on our faces as always; so much so that a review felt in order. The gentlemen in front of the ovens are kind, and respectful, treating you like a close friend rather than customer. It is a refreshing representation of New York style pizza miles away from its place of origin. I will continue to be a customer 15 years and counting. Keep up the...
