I really did like this place. The atmosphere is fun and open. Gives me surf/ sports bar vibes. I enjoy places where you can sit inside or outside, and the water front adds to the scenery. The cocktail drinks were very good. I tried the Italian Margarita for the first time and it became one of my favorites fruity drinks after the first sip.
The reason i'm giving it 3 stars is my first experience was a little unlucky. When arriving we had to wait about 20 minute for our drinks, then another 20 minutes to order our food which we started off with an appetizer(the peel shrimp was very refreshing and well seasoned) . Unfortunately the waitress thought that was all we were getting and didn't came back for another 30 minutes, after we called her down. I noticed that 4 other parties of people(who got there after me) got their food first, compared to my two person party.
I ordered the fajitas, and so did 3 other people that got their food before me. I noticed when theirs came out it was piping hot.The smoke filled up the place but when mine came out it was barely hot... That made me sad because I was super excited for their fajitas after seeing everyone else's. I then noticed that every other tabe had gotten free pickles when seated beside my table. I asked the waitress about it and she did give my pickles when bringing the check..
I ended up staying there for more than 2 hours, spending $100 on 2 rounds of 2 drinks, an app, and 2 entrées. Unfortunately, I really wanted to like the place but my service was not up to par with others around me. I do feel it's because I look younger than the others, but was planning on spending a fair amount of money due to it being the weekend of my anniversary. I still ended up giving more than 20 percent because I would like to give them the benefit of doubt that it was just a misunderstanding.
Hopefully next time things will be...
Read moreIf I could give me a total 0 I would but since I can't I'd rather people who will search for dog friendly places be warned of this horrible inconsiderate establishment instead.
We arrive after finding this place to be dog friendly on the web. We asked a server for a table he told us it was open seating so we proceeded to one of the two vacant tables in the place and sat.
Within a few min a young lady told us we had to go to the host to be sat so we did. Standing there with our dog we reserved a table for two and after waiting 20 min we were told to sit at the same table we left from originally.
After waiting another 5 min a gentleman comes over and shakes hands to introduce himself and also to inform us that we could not eat inside with our dog that we must be sat outside only.
I explained our experience to him and without even an apology he shrug his shoulders and replied that's our policy.
I have never felt so disrespected and discriminated against in my life which is why I explained to him we would take our money elsewhere where we belonged.
Fortunately for us we ended up going to a wonderful place called Soca where we like other dog people where treated with class and dignity and there were plenty of dogs in an extremely upgraded friendlier classier environment suited for people like us.
Buyer beware where soca is located there are dozens of upscale dog friendly people and restaurants who deserve...

The atmosphere here is simply awesome – it's perfect for a casual get-together with friends or catching up on sports events. The service is top-notch, ensuring you feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout your visit.
Now, let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of fantastic. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. Whether you're a fan of classic pub fare or something a bit more adventurous, they have you covered.
One of the standout features of this place is the great location. The fire pit makes for a cozy evening as the fall season approaches, and it offers excellent photo opportunities for those Instagram-worthy moments. And let's not forget the live music – having it every day is a real treat and adds to the vibrant atmosphere.
But what truly sets Vanbarry’s Public House apart is their attention to detail, like the tableside s'mores – a unique and delicious experience that I highly recommend trying.
In conclusion, I can't wait to return to Vanbarry’s Public House. It's a fantastic spot with something for everyone, from the atmosphere and service to the food and entertainment. Highly recommended for a memorable...
