I spent about $20 on the birria taco platter. I found myself hungry 2 hours later, and I am a fairly petite woman… That being said the food was amazing! Some of the best birria I have had since being in Los Angeles. I absolutely loveee when the food is authentic, as this place definitely is. Although, I will say, it was a little frustrating that the woman taking my order did not understand any English at all. I should not be forced to speak Spanish in a restaurant in the middle of a mall in Edina, simply because they serve authentic Spanish food. Luckily I am fairly fluent myself. Stopped in here after thinking we would find fast food at the food court. We were totally taken by surprise with how wonderful the food was. We have not had authentic Mexican food like this in over 20 years. We don’t live close by but I have been looking for excuses to drive back here and eat again.
