I loved Chatime and had hoped that Niko Niko would be the same, but unfortunately it isn’t.

Their only options for sweetness levels are 100%, 50%, 25%, and 0%. I ordered 50% and it wasn’t sweet enough, but 100% would be too sweet.

At Chatime I would get 80% and it was perfect - I wish there was at least a 75% option. I was also disappointed to see that these drinks came with ice as it makes the drink watery and hard to get the remaining boba out of the bottom. This also means you get less drink. Chatime came without ice, and the drink was chilled.

Overall I’m pretty disappointed in the change and am going to find another boba spot...

Niko Niko Boba in Southdale Mall is a great spot for boba lovers! I got the Nutella milk tea with pearls, which is my favorite drink here. It's rich, chocolatey, and has plenty of caffeine to keep you energized—almost too much! I made the mistake of having it in the late evening and couldn’t sleep until 2 am. My husband tried the Energizer, which was tasty and surprisingly caffeine-free. He’s very sensitive to caffeine, but he was able to sleep soundly after having it. The drinks here are flavorful, and there’s something for everyone, whether you want a pick-me-up or something relaxing....
