Edina Eatery — Restaurant in Edina

I ordered a pickup order for noon. I arrived at noon and my order wasn't ready. That in itself was not a big deal. But then I realized they had not even started my order nor did they for at least five more minutes. I also watched them take frozen chicken from a bag and microwave it. This was clear when I began to eat my wrap and the chicken was still hard and frozen. Such a bummer because I work so close and would have loved for this to be a normal lunch spot. It was relatively empty in there and still, the kitchen was so disorganized and seemed chaotic. I won't be going back. (And the women next time had ordered fries. They had been waiting as long as I had (about 10 minutes) and were informed they could not have fries. This incident as well confirmed my feelings about this...

I originally ordered boxed lunches for one of my work teams from the Edina Eatery with a goal of supporting a local, small business, while hoping to find a good option for business catering. The food was an instant hit with all of us. When we opened the boxes, the pleasant smell of freshly baked bread wafted out- a great first impression. I requested feedback from the team and the response was 100% positive. HOURS ARE NOT CORRECT. CLOSE EARLY. On the website and on their door it says they close at 3pm. It’s currently 2:20 pm and their doors are closed. That’s way too early in my opinion, especially on Fridays, I believe they are done by 1:30 pm!! Other than that I love this place, I work in the same building so I come here often. The food is good and the workers are lovely. Just wish they would stay...
