Old Southern BBQ was the perfect choice for our wedding. Prior to we have to be honest that we hadn't heard of them before. It was an option that our venue recommended. As we were making decisions and reviewing menus, we decided to try it out beforehand at one of the local restaurants. It was just the style of food that we were hoping for. Connecting with Amy was incredibly easy and helpful! We had about 150 people and a decent amount children. Amy talked through options with us and we were left feeling so confident in our choice. And the day of our wedding confirmed it! The catering staff was so welcoming and engaging with our guests. Honestly, everyone we spoke with that night raved about how great the food was. And it truly was. We had plenty of food and people were able to come up for seconds. So please trust them with their recommendations. We unfortunately had some of our guests that weren't able to attend last minute so we did have leftovers. The catering staff was great at cleaning and packaging up what we had left. Our grad party for our high school son was a complete success and a lot of that was because of Amy and Old Southern catering! She was great to work with from the planning, creating the menu, the quantities and everything else. Courtney delivered on time and was very helpful getting us set up. We estimate we had about 160 - 170 guests so just the right amount of food with some leftovers for us. The pulled pork, brisket, beans, cole slaw and mac & cheese were all fantastic! We got so many compliments that day and as we continued to go to other grad parties, we continued to receive compliments about the bbq and how amazing it was. Such good food such good service!!! Amy (the catering manager)- we personally wanted to give you a huge thank you as you were one of the most responsive wedding vendors we had! Amy answered all of our questions literally in the same day and was super easy to work with! As for the food, TO DIE FOR! We got pulled pork and chicken and it was amazing ! Along with the mashed potatoes! No leftover of the potatoes because people loved them so much! For appetizers we got chicken wings and one of my friends reached out and said if there was leftovers of those she would come over to eat some because they were so good!!
