My boss decided to treat us to lunch today and let me tell you, our experience was not great.š Let's begin: The waiter came to take our drink and appetizer order. My boss ordered an appetizer and he decided he wanted a strawberry lemonade. My coworker and I asked for water. The appetizer didn't take long to arrive and the waiter brought the lemonade. However our water took a while to get to the table. Boss mentioned the drink didn't taste right and asked the waiter " do u mind if we switch this to sweet tea" the waiter made a face of " I guess" and took the cup. This is where it all started getting worse. The waiter brought the ice tea along with the waters for myself and my coworker. He quickly left without giving us a chance to ask for a straw. š he then brought out my plate and my coworker's. A few minutes passed by and then another man - came to our table and apologized for taking a while to bring out the steak plate my boss had ordered. He said that it had fallen on the floor and had asked his cook to make another one. Minutes went by and the waiter never arrived with the plate. He didn't even show up to ask if we needed anything else. After what seemed a very long time - I waved down the waiter and I let him know that we had yet to received the steak. He made a shocked face and ran to the back. A good ten minutes passed by and another man from the kitchen showed up with the steak. Finally. At this point my Co worker and I had finished with eating. It literally took 45 minutes for my boss to receive his plate of food. He had ordered a steak with a loaded potatoe. The plate came with a steak that looked like it had just been pulled off the skillet with a side of steamed broccoli. It seems to me that they had completely forgotten to even make the steak until I waived down the waiter. The side wasnt even the right one! We never had our water or tea refills either or the straws! So anyway! The my boss ended up telling the man that he didn't not want the steak anymore- and the man said he was sorry and that it wasn't his fault. He said that there had been a mix up in the kitchen. We let him know that we just wanted the bill. He then said " alright well u can pay through the machine on the table and don't worry about the steak, we won't charge u for it". Our waiter came over and he asked if everything was alright. At this point we were all frustrated with the service and told him we didn't need anything else and that we were already going to pay. He said that we could pay through the machine and then he said " and don't worry about the steak, we will take care of that ". What do u mean we will take care of that?! Ur definition of taking care of it is simply to not charge for it? It took 45 minutes for us to get the food! And it wasn't even right. Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife took me out for my birthday on July 9 and as she paying the bill, she kept on getting an error message. We were advised that the internet was down and they would be accepting cash as payment. My wife paid in cash and we left.
The next day, my wife sees a charge for the bill amount on her bank account and is told to give it some time. That the payment should not be going through because they will be adjusting it to show that is was already paid. A couple of days go by, and my wife goes in person to Chilli's and asked to speak to the manager. The manager took down my wifes information and said he will call her back. So he never did. My wife went there the next day as well and got her information taken down and was told they were going to call her back. Nobody ever did.
So day 3, I went in person and the manager I spoke to said that it has bee. Taken care of and we should be receiving the money in 5-7 business days.
Today, July 24, 2024, my wife told me that the money had still not been returned to her account. I call Chilli's and spoke to the manager who advised me that nobody responded to an email that corporate had sent out to see if the money had been pulled out of my wife's account or not. I told the manager I did not want to wait another 5-7 business days and asked for my money back in cash since we had also paid in cash. He said he couldn't give the cash back.
So long story short, I told the manager that it seems like the left hand is not speaking to the right hand and their management team is dropping the ball. I was able to get my money back in cash and I will not be returning to Chilli's.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a big fan of chilis and i mean BIG FAN! So itās a little disappointing to say i didnāt have a good experience this past monday (8/25). Our waitress magda i think that was her name was rushing us to leave. I would be eating and she would come periodically to take away the dishes mind you I WAS STILL EATING!! I was just trying to enjoy the chips and salsa and yap with my best friend and again she was asking to take away our food like please i am eating!!!! Then when we needed her she was no where to be found at all! It was upsetting we all felt rushed when we were just trying to enjoy ourselves! Then when i asked for some chips and salsa to go she brought me an empty cup and i looked confused and asked āmaāam whereās the salsa to go??ā she states āoh can you just pour the salsa thatās in the table in thereā mind you THERE WAS NO MORE SALSA ON THE TABLE so i was confused what did she want me to pour?? I am very generous with my tips and always tip $10+ (which is more than the % that is asked on the check) but I am sorry i did not leave a penny. After this experience Im gonna take a break...
