This course is a diamond in the rough and it is sad that the city willing to give it up. The pricing at $20 for 18 with a cart is an exceptional value. The course itself is easily playable for golfers of all abilities. The manager, Tony, goes above and beyond to keep the course in good condition and still offer affordability. This course should be treasured and embraced by the city. It is close to schools for our up and coming future champions to practice. The winter Texans that boost our economy so greatly flock to the course while visiting for its affordability on their fixed incomes. Those dollars will go elsewhere should the city indeed sell this property off and those dollars don't just go to the course they go to other local businesses. Come out and play this course and see what a treasure it truly is while...
Read moreI grew up in the course , lived on hole 4 and would always come out and practice. In the 20 years I’ve been playing this course has shown improvement, new carts and car paths , greens are looking really good , I can see they are redoing the tee boxes. I know they mentioned putting in an irrigation system so that’ll be nice to have to the fairways. Price is always good , the only take away from it all it’s no tee times, yes it’s nice to just go when ever but never fails when I get stuck behind 3 groups of 5 that all show up at the same time. Oh also club house needs HUGE renovations. The bathrooms have been the same since the 90s and the toilets seems like they’ve never...

The fairways are subpar and very dry throughout. However, the greens have improved drastically over the past year.
For $12 walking and $20 (maybe more now) with cart, it’s a cheap round, which is the primary reason I continue to play here. It’s also less desirable compared to Los Lagos, which means there are almost always favorable tee times available.
All in all, worth it...
