My mom went during a Saturday and it was a horrific experience for the first time. My little brother has autism and he is hyperactive, and he LOVES the pool. Everything was going great until random people couldn’t stop staring and the lifeguards were getting mad a little 6 year old boy that has autism for cutting in line when he doesn’t really know what they were saying and my mom would go but take a rest but would be there. The random people were getting mad saying that he’s wetting them and splashing them around when by common sense it is a pool, with water. The building manager I suppose when up to my mom saying that he’ll get hurt but my mom kept saying that if he does get hurt she’ll take full responsibility and even sign papers for them to know that she is willingly and legally responsible for any injuries of him. The “building manager” was saying to keep him by the hand….its a public pool, where kids have fun, where kids can splash around because it’s a pool. Instead of keeping an eye on the athletes, they are busy on their phones or trying to learn how to dance with each other. Edinburg Parks And Rec are quick to take your money for activities that have no coaches for. Many Times parents have to volunteer to coach because the Edinburg Parks and Rec have none for the activity. Instead of improving because of a new facility, it has been the exact opposite. The parking spaces that are meant for visitors are all taken up by the employees. You have to park in the parking spaces that are at the back end of the building. As far as handicap parking spaces?
