This place is magnificent!!! It has quality food at a very reasonable price! The service is exceptional! The location is elegant, and this is why this Saturday, three families were eating there, celebrating their birthday because it’s an awesome place to do so! I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. My plate was delicious except I wanted my vegetables seasoned and also cooked a little more as they were not grilled the right amount time. They were too hard and flavorless. My shrimp were delicious and cooked just right, but I would have loved a side of butter to go with the garlic, so I can dip them. I should have asked. They probably would have brought it to me without an issue. They did bring me a flight of salsas to try, and their habanero salsa is out of this world good! It’s delicious!!!!!!!! Their entry salsa is so good, too, but they accommodated my desire for extra spicy salsa! Their entry black beans they gift us are so delicious!! You will love them. Their green salsa is so good, too! The green salsa just needs salt as it doesn’t have any. We also had fish tacos, and they were incredible. I think the place is potentially a five except I will give the room to improve on my veggies and the butter for the butter garlic shrimp dish called “Mojo de ajo” on their menu. The location has a lot of photo opportunities and beautiful lights. You won’t leave there without beautiful photos if that’s what you’re looking for, and if you’re there to celebrate a birthday, you will love it because the staff will all come to sing to you the “Pedro, Pedro, Pedro” song that was famous due to the raccoon song online. It’s perfect!!! I can’t wait to go back again and take my whole family!

Wow, driving by today and got to try out Pedro's. I've been waiting for this place to open. It was quite busy so I wasn't sure, but it was just me, and I sat bar immediately. The first thing you notice as you enter is the beautiful decor and the sheer size of the restaurant. Custom handmade light fixtures of metal and blown glass brought in from the center of Mexico adorn the restaurant. ****** Update. 3 months later give or take. After eating here 3 more times. ***** No. Don't go. It's not worth it. None of my dining experiences here were very good...and certainly not worth the cost. Bar service is terrible. Timing is terrible... I'm not a Karen. Everyone gets benefit of the doubt. I've been her like 4 or 5 times. They just reinforce it every time. There won't be another time. The rojo fajitas from Ganadera in my Ninja Foodie XL grill come out better than the fajitas here for like 7 million dollars. The margaritas are good. That I will give them. Worth $18 though? Not when Costa Messa is pumping out house Margies that give you hallucinations at like $8 a pop. No. The table service may be better than what I've gotten repeatedly and mind you there's lots of standing around and dinnerware left on tables or the bar for a long time. Even when slow. BOTH times I was at the bar, there were less than 3 other people at the bar and the restaurant was maybe a quarter full. Maybe. Look. You of course do as your heart pleases. But I will not be going back.

After the long awaited time for Pedros to finally open, we went to try it out! I wish I could give a good review but on to the facts! Okay the place is nice and upscale. If the food would have been hot when served to us, it would have been really good. The waitress was really lost and seemed like she did not know what she was doing! She had to ask us more than twice on more than one occasion for our order. She took our order then come back and ask us again for the order. I was puzzled and l thought were being punk'd or maybe on candid camera. She was that bad! Then she brings our plate out which was a grill of meat with a skewer hanging down with shrimp, and then we had to wait way over 5 to 10 mins for her to bring the tortillas, by then the meat was all cold! Then the fajita was raw and not cooked correctly! She totally forgot my daughters plate and so she did not eat. The margarita I ordered was huge and I will say it was good, really good that I felt tipsy! They did give us a small discount but really should have been on the house! I will go back someday and will update this reveiw after a second chance! It seem very chaotic and just a mess.

Everyone has their opinion. Me being foody and wife not so much, give us a difference of opinion which we argue about how good or bad places are on food and service. Both of us had a not so exciting experience. I understand new place and wait staff is not as knowledgeable. But our waitress seems to have not read the menu at all. We would ask for something and she would have to see the menu as if wondering if we lying about our selection. Or in our case had to verify that pico de gallo comes with the appetizer as if wanting to charge us.

Waitress was also not as attentive, of course she could’ve had other tables so we don’t complain about that but all of a sudden gives the check and is hovering like a hawk. I left the check on the table to purposely wait for the waitress to leave so I can review and fill it out and she seem to hover the entire 5-10 minutes (was finishing up and watching the eagles game).

2 star for service, too much wait staff and we seem to have one of the ones that didn’t know the menu, and was not attentive. Only reason for 2 stars because at least the managers were asking if everything was good but had it not been grand opening I’m sure it wouldn’t be the same.

Now to the food: Choriqueso was just like any other, nothing too special. Small portion from what other restaurants offer, but it is an appetizer. Came with pico de gallo which the server wanted to charge us for, wasn’t even worth a second bite.

Tortillas were raw or undercooked when we brought it to the many managers roaming the area they were quick to fix it but it seems to be the brand of tortillas. Aries tortillas representative was there to explain but definitely not the same as a homemade tortilla.

Wife got enchiladas entree and she described it as bland and opted out not eating. She’s not really a foody so if it’s not good she won’t eat. (Again we don’t complain for free food so we left it as is.)

My kid and I got the beef fajitas to share. Biggest disappointment and slap to the name of fajitas. You would think being from the valley and being a Mexican restaurant it would be hard to mess up but I guess where there’s will there’s a way. Dry, over cooked, unseasoned chunks of meat. My kid had to ask for ketchup to make it edible. I had to put salt, lime, onions, bell peppers, and the works to make it good. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt but this is just my opinion.

1 star for food, last time it was this bad was in an upstate Mexican restaurant. At least they had a nice queso dip.

Quick review on atmosphere, like the aesthetic. Music a bit too loud to enjoy. But it could be due to the influx of people.

Overall we went to the grand opening because usually those seem to be the times where you get the best of the best due to over staffed waiters, managers to correct everything, and the best food and service. But this wasn’t the case.

Overall 2/5 and unless we get some good review from word of mouth later on (much later on) we will give...
