Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Edison

Why would you not put a sign on the window stating that you're not participating in free cone day? Instead they have it inside written small by the cashier in an overly crowded small area as if anyone can see it. So you have to wait in a long like just to see it so you can be like oh well I'm already here might as well buy one? A waste of ppls time. We're bringing our families, friends, college students etc to try and enjoy something nice together. Nope I'm going to Plainfields Dairy Queen 👋🏽✌🏽It's not about the price it's about the principle. Then the manager gets all huffy when my boyfriend asked him which Dairy Queen's is participating and he says he has no idea he doesn't know. I went there yesterday for the 4th of July to get a sweet treat before the fireworks. The trip there was terrible. I stood in line for almost FIFTEEN MINUTES, and when it was my turn, they said they could not make my drink as they had NO VANILLA ICE CREAM! What a waste of my time. There was only 1 register. They need a better way of customer service in there. And then when I called them to give them feedback, indeed the person on the phone said "you are lying" when that person on the phone claimed he was there the entire day. Which, he did not sound like anybody I saw that day. He lied and I will never be returning to this DQ strictly ever...

This was the first time taking my daughter. To a dairy queen. Thought it would be a nice treat but the manager was very rude after I leaned over the ice cream display to see all the flavors and my head hit one of the extremely low hanging lamps and knocked the cover off. The manager didn't come and out ask what happened or if I was ok but rudely with his face screwed up... yes I could see the disgust in his face under the mask....where all he said was why are you so close. He took the light cover which did not break and walked away.

The young lady serving us was very nice though.
