Dduk Dabang — Restaurant in Edison

Extremely delicious restaurant within the HMart in Edison, NJ. I gotta say, to start, the Tteok-bokki was outstanding. Long and really delicious plus spicy too which also was a great touch. The egg, with the dumpling, the noodles, everything else was a really great addition to the big meal plus the beef. The beef tasted a bit undercooked however, wasn’t a big deal.

Service here also was fantastic, the guy that took the order was really sweet and delightful which was really nice. Nothing really else about that. To say the least about the atmosphere, this restaurant is located within a grocery store, as expected of course, loud and very spacious, however, a ton of seating, your basically somewhat guaranteed a spot if you come with you and one other person, bigger families, it may be a bit tougher.

Overall, this restaurant in the HMart was definetly incredible and had a lot too it, I definetly believed the chefs in the back went above and beyond to create such a delicious dish. I was absolutely recommend this spot to...

I haven’t eaten here in a while, so imagine my surprise when my Five Star Ddukbokki place didn’t live up to its standard. The soup base was really watery and not as creamy and sweet as it used to be. And the portions definitely got smaller. There was almost no fish cake and the sliced green onions that give you a palate cleanse was lacking. And they DEFINITELY skimped on the beef brisket and the ramen. Overall, the quality went down and so did the portion size. (P.s. we came after the lunch rush so there really wasn’t a reason for the slack). Will try again one more time in the near future, but I’m not going to get my hopes up.

I LOVE THE BEEF BRISKET ROAE TOPOKKI!! if you get anything here, definitely get that one. It’s so creamy and sweet and spicy at the same time ! I’ve been eating this every Sunday and WHEN I SAY IT SLAPS EVERY TIME IM NOT 👏...

Came here with my family to give a try. I ordered the Military Spicy Cheese Ramen which was amazing and took me back to when I was stationed at Camp Casey Korea and would get this from the KATUSA Snack bar. When I realized it had a hot dog it really made my day. 😊😊

The staff did everything possible to ensure that our experience was amazing. I had the pleasure of living in South Korea for 3yrs and didn't want to leave as I enjoyed the culture so much. Now that I'm retired I have tried many places but this HMart and food court really brought me back to my time in Korea
