La Bagel Express — Restaurant in Edison

I ordered a taylor ham, egg & cheese bagel sandwich because the posted price was $4.65. I wanted a bacon, egg & cheese but didn't order it because it was listed as costing $5.25 When I went to pay for my order she charged me $5.25, I told the cashier "I ordered Taylor ham not bacon so it is $4.65 the lady says "no, the machine says $5.25 but I point out to her that they have the sandwich listed for $4.65 on their big board. She tells me that it's what the machine says and not what's on the board and that she can't change it. I told her that she is suppose to xharge what is the listed priced and not what their incorrectly programmed the register for. I paid anyway and told her they need to change the price on the board before this happens again. She tells me "we don't have time for that! Goodbye!" Very unprofessional service and I will be telling all my friends & family so none of them go...

The older lady is always grumpy but I notice she’s often pleasant when taking orders from ppl that have a lighter skin tone. This particular time I noticed the staff asked 2 women what their orders were, they checked on the orders, & soon after the orders were ready. One of the women ordered right before me. So I figured mine should be next. I asked for the status of my order and was told “it’s coming”. I can tell it from where the ticket was & her reaction that they didn’t even start my order (a simple omelette platter). During this time I also noticed that ppl who ordered after me received their food (all “lighter” toned ppl). After looking at the time & realizing that I had been waiting for probably 30 mins and that my order was being neglected, I left. I will never return to this establishment again & I hope others refrain frm...

HOMOPHOBIC WARNING: So I’m queer. And the lady working is always nice to my partner and I but everytime I go in and there’s this older man with salt and pepper buzz cut and he literally ignores us, gives us DIRTY looks or one time he literally said “disgusting” under his breath because we were being affectionate on a morning off grabbing our food.
