Placed an order for a chicken street chalupa box and was asked if we wanted chicken in all the accompaniments in the order. My husband stated yes, as he cannot eat beef. Afterwards he asked “just clarifying that all items are chicken not beef” he was told to “read the screen, it says chicken”. That is such a rude response but my husband still responded with a “thank you, just checking”. When we got his order, there was a taco with no protein in it. It was a hard shell taco with no beef or chicken. If only had lettuce and cheese on it. We ordered cinnamon twists, they were stale. We were told “that’s how they are”. We have been inhaling cinnamon twists for decades. That is in fact not how they come. Lastly, the kicker was when we ordered nachos bellgrande - but just wanted the nachos which mean we didn’t want the nachos bell grande meal. We just wanted an order of nachos. We still wanted the beef, beans, lettuce and tomatoes. If this was confusing to the staff they could have asked for clarification. Instead they gave us a container of chips and cheese which is its own side order if that’s what we wanted that’s what we would have ordered. When we addressed this, the same rude associate who took our order (read the screen lady) became argumentative. All we wanted was the ordered we were charged for. If we were charged for chips and cheese then I would have allowed the misunderstanding to pass. Your associates on Rt 1 in Edison, NJ around 2pm need some assistance with their...
Read moreI recently visited the Taco Bell on US-1 in Edison, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was exactly what you’d expect—quick, tasty, and affordable. I ordered a Crunchwrap Supreme and a Baja Blast, and both were fresh and well-made. The service was pretty fast, even though there was a short line when I arrived.
The staff was friendly and got my order right, but I’ve noticed that sometimes special requests, like asking for extra sauce or making an item vegetarian, can be overlooked. It’s not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you have specific preferences.
The location itself is clean and well-maintained, with enough seating for those who want to dine in. The drive-thru moves at a decent pace, but it can get a bit slow during peak hours. Parking is easy, and the restaurant is conveniently located right off the highway.
Overall, this Taco Bell is a reliable spot for a quick meal. It’s not perfect, but for fast food, it gets the job done. If you’re craving tacos, burritos, or nachos, this place will satisfy your hunger without...
Read moreEdit:gave this place multiple chances, the wait here when you mobile order makes chik fila wait feel short, no one acknowledges you in lobby why open it. If someone does acknowledge you they just tell you to order through the kiosk which is fine but at least get the order right...
Lack of staff/cashiers or so they say results in backed up drive thru and locked lobby. Ordered a cheesy Gordita crunch and they just gave me a regular taco...
Mobile/Web orders are treated like 2nd or 3rd class citizens and don't don't get me started about how delivery drivers are treated and ignored for half an hour
They probably could have ordered themselves and delivered it before it was ready or even responded to by an employee
Save your self the trouble and go to the piscataway or route 18 taco bell
GREAT COMPANY RUINED AGAIN BY FRANCHISES hopefully the new Popeyes/BK that's gonna be opening on route 1 nearby isn't the same...
