Amazing experience here for Valentine's evening! We are not from OKC area, so we chose this restaurant based on reviews touting it as one of the fancier steakhouses in Edmond. We were not disappointed! Everything was excellent. The ambiance was romantic - medium lit, some noise and music but not too much. It was very easy to carry on a conversation. They sat us by the kitchen - a roomy u-shaped booth in it's own little nook. We started off with a order of spicy calamari. We didn't care for the dip but it was very good without. Dinner was amazing. We tried salads, filet, ribeye, twice baked potato (huge!), fries, brussel sprouts (which at first taste was like biting into a sweet toasted marshmallow, yum), and then for dessert we had the creme brulee. The service through all of this was top-notch! Also, being next to the kitchen, it was interesting to watch the cooks, servers, and managers interact with each other. They were all very polite and considerate, and seemed to work together like a well-oiled machine. Very happy we chose this place. We would definitely go back next time we are in OKC area and wanting to treat ourselves to a nice dinner.

Well, to start with Celina was an amazing server. She was very patient and paid attention to the details. She did not try to rush my dining expertise and it was just that a great dining experience. The shrimp cocktail was clean, cold and perfect. Order some extra raw horseradish to make it complete. The Cesar salad was great and the homemade dressing was seasoned perfectly. The lobster bisque was more than I expected. I usually like a more light creamy sauce, but the darker bisque was seasoned perfect and the lobster that was in the soup was more than the other restaurants that offered sound the US. The filet was cooked med + perfectly with a top crispy peppered top that was just amazing to taste. It was accompanied by the twice baked potato that was cooked perfectly as well. The flown in cheesecake was fresh and was very good. Make sure to ask for Celina and sit back for two hours and enjoy the expertise chef and service you deserve in this small town. Don’t miss out and try it for yourself.

Boulevard Steakhouse is a hidden gem in Edmond. I say hidden because it is in the middle of a center with another restaurant and another business, so if you're not careful, you will drive past it. However, pay attention and go! This restaurant is outstanding - the decor is lovely, the background music perfect (the Rat Pack and friends), the service excellent and the food is divine. Our servers, Sarah and Cindy, took great care with us, attentive without being obtrusive. They took the time to answer our questions about the menu and the specials, and Sarah in particular gave us great advice. I had the tenderloin medallions with veal demi-glace, sauteed asparagus and white pepper and parmesan mashed potatoes. The tenderloin was just as I like it: tender, juicy and seasoned well. My companion had one the specials, the lobster thermidor; I had never had it, but man - the bite I tried was SO good and buttery! I HIGHLY recommend Boulevard Steakhouse. Thank you!

Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion with our family and friends, at the Boulevard. It was a special night for the restaurant too, as they were hosting a Rombauer winetasting. From the traditional décor and setting, you could tell that you were in the fanciest of restaurants, but from the moment our party was seated the feeling was welcoming -- not pretentious. Our waiter, was flexible with our service, setting a relaxed pace with a wonderful explanation of specials and giving us plenty of time to consider the menu. He was always attentive and thinking ahead (I will explain an example of his attentiveness shortly). He appeared perfectly sharp, dressed in pressed tuxedo attire, but he kept the mood light and jovial, joking with the guests as he glided around the table. First, we ordered appetizers (Escargot and an Artisan Cheese Platter) and wine. Do not miss the Escargot, this is a delicious starter. For myself, I just ordered a glass of the Boulevard cabernet, which I enjoyed. I skipped the salad, but others at the table had the wedge or the steakhouse salad. The restaurant treated our table to sample an appetizer of buttery scallops and some of the wine offered as part of the Rombauer feast. Next, the steak. [[deep breath]]. The bone-in Ribeye was an over-healthy portion -- nearly 1.5 inches thick and barely fitting on the large saucer of a plate -- seared to crispy perfection, served with wedge of grilled onion and tomato accompanying on top. The steak is so tender, it just melts in your mouth. In fact, I do not believe I said one word until after I finished my steak; I just sat there enjoying all that flavor and experience. We shared sides of asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms, pairing nicely with the entrée. Finally, for dessert, we each ordered something, bananas “Boulevard” foster, crème brûlée, brioche French toast, brandy ice, etc., and that allowed us to try nearly every dessert on the menu. Several times during our meal, the owner of the restaurant visited with us, telling us interesting bits of additional information about the food and the restaurant, and making sure everything was just so. Our waiter, constantly vigilant in serving well after the table had been cleared and the check was paid, without prompting brought fresh ice water and French pressed coffee. I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I go to restaurants so frequently it is difficult to remember what I ate from where, even just a week ago. This exquisite meal at Boulevard Steakhouse is something I will...

We've enjoyed dinner at Boulevard several times over the years. Our most recent dinner was the most disappointing. It started off great! The server was nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. Where things went wrong is at the end of the dinner.

We ordered lobster mac & cheese as one of the side dishes. However, we didn't get to eat much of it and almost all of it was left after we ate. There were other leftovers as well. Our server offered to pack up the leftovers for us which we appreciated. When she brought out the bagged food, she let us know there was an accident in the kitchen. While they were packing up the lobster mac & cheese, it spilled onto the floor. She immediately stated they cooked up a fresh order for us and packed it to go with the rest of the items. We expressed our gratitude.

We left very happy with the overall experience. When we returned home and started unpacking the food, we realized something was off with the mac & cheese. It turns out, they did prepare a fresh order, but it was just mac & cheese. THERE WAS NO LOBSTER IN IT!!! At first, we were dumbfounded. I reviewed the receipt to see if perhaps she had the item removed due to the issue in the kitchen. No, the charge was still there.

This turn of events was infuriating. How could they send us home without all the food we purchased???!!! How could they stiff us on our LOBSTER???!!! As I stated, we hadn't eaten two bites of the lobster mac & cheese and were looking forward to having it later. There was PLENTY of lobster left when they took it to pack it up. It just boggles my mind as to why they wouldn't either remove the item from the ticket or actually prepare the same replacement item that they spilled onto the floor.

This is not an oversight. This goes to trust. We trusted we would go home with what we ordered. We didn't pull everything out of the bag at the table and inspect it before we left. We TRUSTED it would all be there. Our wonderful experience ended on a very disappointing note. Hopefully, it won't happen to someone else. Beware! It won't happen to us again because I'm not sure we'll be going back...

Tonight we had such a great experience with our waitress Cindy. We started with the spicy calamari and the shrimp and crab cargo and white wine. All are highly recommend. The calamari has just the right amount of spice and is nicely balanced by the sauce it comes with. The cargo was flavorful and buttery. Next, we had the best caesar salad we have ever had and an amazing truffled mushroom soup. The salad to dressing mix was perfect and the soup as hot and creamy. The bread is seriously a cloud. So fresh and hot and they were more than happy to bring out a second round. Next, we enjoyed ribeyes and filets. All cooked to perfection with truffle butter and savory sauces. Well worth the extra money to get these toppings on your steak. The sides we chose tonight were the mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, carrots, and creamed spinach. All were absolutely perfect except for the carrots. We were expecting savory but they were super sweet. However, they still had a good texture to them and weren't mush which we enjoyed. We har the Boulevard white label wine with our main entrees. Great value with that wine selection. One member of our party is pregnant and they made her a delicious mocktail. Seriously so good and she appreciated their efforts to include her in the drinking. To finish out the night we had the bread pudding, creme brulee, and cheesecake. Highly recommend all three. Coffee and espresso gave us the energy to walk to the car after filling ourselves full of great food. The Boulevard staff cares about their customers and this was evident tonight. We can't wait for our next visit. Thank you Julie and Cindy for a night we...
