Staff was not welcoming in the slightest. Seemed like she wanted us out of the store as soon as possible and was put off by having to serve a customer. We got the obligatory greeting, but no smile, no cheerful vibe. I was buying treats for the whole family and after each selection, I got a, "Is that all?" I got 6 truffles, a toffee, a smors, and a dipped twinkie. After literally every item I selected, "Is that all?" It's a pet peeve of mine. In customer service, you're taught to say, "what else can I get you," or "what else would you like?" Positivity is not a lot to ask for nor is it difficult. It's the bare minimum. We were the only customers in the store and she behaved as if we just pulled her away from some very important IG scrolling or something. Not impressed.
The chocolate, however, was on point. I've never been disappointed by the smoothness of the chocolate from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We went for the first time tonight, in tow was my screaming toddler and my disabled sister. We spent over $100 all together, my mom brought to my attention an Apple party pack, buy 3 apples get one free. I hadn’t even gotten my receipt when I asked if we could do that since we were all getting apples- what I presume was the manager rudely said “it must all be on one transaction” which I understood but was hoping they could re-ring it for us giving the circumstances, and after seeing all the reviews stating how great the customer service was and having previously experienced the excellent customer service at the Stillwater location- I was surprised by this interaction, unfortunately not in a good way. Read moreI moved here from Knoxville, TN so I was beyond excited to see a RMCF in edmond. I have purchased COUNTLESS apples from this location - but recently the quality has consistently been HORRIBLE. This now the third apple from this that’s had a ROTTEN middle. I understand they “brown” after twenty minutes. These apples are ROTTEN in the middle. Previously purchased apples lasted days in the fridge. This apple was purchased on 8.16.25 and this picture is from today 8.17.25.
I didnt take pictures of the previous two because I knew wasn’t the standard of RMCF - but the benefit of the doubt has come back to bite me.
