Reason for such a bad reviews is do to how Leanne treated us. No smile, no greeting, then when asked for a particular diet. She ignores you and cares less. We are very friendly people. When we greeted her w a smile. Nothing but a scowl on her face like she hated her job. The first visit I was thinking maybe she just had a bad day to find. The last 3 times we came. Attitude was the same. Not sure if its bc im white and my wife is Asian? Asked for substitution bc I eat kosher and can't eat crab. When asked for just veggies and no crab. She said I would be charged more!! I have never been charged more for no crab and veggies instead. I come here twice a week. Everyone is great and always have an amazing experience. UNTIL LEANNE! I normally spend 500 each time twice a week here. Tipping $100 each time. I bring my wife and her family. But since our visit here. Im done! Will not be coming back. Totally ruined our moods. Graduation night for our daughter and we came happy to have this experience while our daughter was w us. Im appalled. As a business owner myself. Customer service is one of the most important factors to...

We began our dining experience by ordering a few appetizers, three delicious rolls of sushi, and the much-anticipated steak and scallops hibachi. The presentation was impressive, and the sushi definitely satisfied our cravings. However, the appetizers were a bit underwhelming and lacked that extra flair.

Next came the highlight of the meal—the steak and scallops hibachi. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The scallops were flavorless; in fact, I had to spit one out, which was quite disappointing! The steak was equally bland, failing to deliver the bold taste I had hoped for.

When I shared my concerns with the server, she graciously removed the hibachi from our bill, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, while some dishes were enjoyable, others fell flat, leaving us with mixed feelings about...

Carry out order of hibachi steak and shrimp with steak requested medium rare-it wasn’t, more like medium well. Rice was mushy as were the noodles and the whole meal just had no flavor just very bland. I’ve had hibachi meals at other Japanese restaurants and the quality of food and flavor was much better. The meso soup had no flavor, just like trying to eat hot water. My daughter had the volcano tower? Which was a sushi type roll and it too was bland and mushy. The atmosphere was very charming and the hostess was very friendly so we were really hoping the food would be good but unfortunately it left us very disappointed . Restaurants only get one chance to make a favorable impression and...

Stopped in yesterday for first time and was BLOWN AWAY!! Had the immense pleasure of being waited on by Maddalena (Mad) and each bite was a transformative experience. We couldn’t help ourselves, we over ate too much to say the least (without breaking the bank) and still didn’t hurt. After a few hours we were craving Volcano again and discussed our amazement on how we felt healthy and were not experiencing any pain. So, we went back for seconds 🤣. The second time was just as good as the first, we tried new dishes and were waited on by Alex who also did a great job! Looking forward to coming back many times!

The new sushi place offers a fancy yet casual ambiance with traditional Japanese seating. Guests are greeted warmly and seated promptly. While the special plates of various fish are filling, the flavors tend to blend, making them taste similar until disassembled. Prices are reasonable, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience, though the taste left some disappointment. The atmosphere and service were highlights, but the lack of distinct flavors in the sushi was a letdown for this visit.
