tldr: This is the better MCD's when choosing between: Memorial, 2nd, and 15th St in Edmond. 33rd is alright. The managers in the morning at this store are top-notch, way better than I could do if it were me. The manager helped me find a plug-in when I asked if they had removed them all. Very nice guy. I fully expected him to be rude about me needing to use my computer for a few minutes, but he was very nice to me. I avoid the other Edmond locations because of the way the managers speak to people.
The cashier at the front that helped the customers after me was very kind as well. I could tell that the employees did not dread their jobs like I did when I worked fast food at a younger age, because the employees here were treated with respect and taught to treat customers with that same friendly respect.
If I am ordering fast food in Edmond, I will order here a lot more often from now on. I want to support morally correct businesses in the future. I'm sick of being pushed around at other businesses and treated poorly.
I will ask my group to come here instead of the 2nd St store(one of the managers at the 2nd St store misheard me complimenting the food and chewed me out, and then yelled at me again the next time I came in.)
The food is cooked more correctly here too, not that I am picky about that, but the food tastes so much better than at the other mcd's in the area.
I don't really mind either way, but this store was also noticeably cleaner than the other Edmond stores.
They got about the same food traffic as any mcd's, but took all the orders immediately when a crowd walked in(on top of a full drive thru), and there was really good communication as far as volume to the grill and assembly (I've worked fast food before. This is the difference between the awesome service they had, literally only 2 minutes to get my sandwiches, and the 20 minute wait you sometimes get when the grill gets overwhelmed.) I never get mad when things take a while during rush hour, or at any time(because I've been on the other side, but I was really impressed at how they were all so happy and good/skilled at their processes. Like the people working honestly seemed pretty happy with their jobs, and took pride in their work, a rarity these days). After that rush was taken care of, a shift manager kindly thanked the employees for staying on top of things, and it was clearly genuine, not a plastic thing to say. There was soul to it.
I felt emotionally moved that the employees were happy, and weren't unkind to customers. Sorry the review is so long.

Read moreThis is by far the worst McDonald’s in Oklahoma. I am a single mother of three kids. I work full-time for FedEx six days a week plus I also deliver for Uber eats and post mates during the night time. During peak time delivering during Christmas FedEx was getting slammed I was doing 250 stops or more a day. One evening I came through the drive-through and ordered three meals. We received our three drinks and a bag of food. I got home to feed my kids and I looked in the bag and there was two large fries and four cheeseburgers. I ended up making a sandwich for myself. It was pretty late whenever I had went through the drive-through because I got off work so late. I immediately called the manager who was a Hispanic lady and she had apologized and told me I received the person behind me some food. She took down my name and our order and told me she would replace it whenever we wanted to eat McDonald’s again. So tonight My 15-year-old daughter and I went through the drive-through to pick up the order that was going to get replaced. We had been delivering for Postmates so my Postmates app is still on. They told me to pull up. when I did I spoke with her once more. She kept repeating that’s a lot of food and I repeated and said ma’am we never received our food in the first place. She also kept on saying I don’t remember you. She said who did you speak with and I told her it was a manager and she was Hispanic. She said I’m the only Hispanic manager here. She had me pull up after basically accusing me of lying and making me cry in front of my child. I showed her on my app what we had ordered. She has another lady bring out our food who was very polite and apologized. However we didn’t receive our drinks and was missing a fry. I told my daughter don’t worry about it we’ll go somewhere else and buy drinks there. As we were pulling off my Postmates app goes off and somebody else was wanting McDonald’s. My stomach turned with knots knowing that I don’t ever turn a delivery order down and someone else needed their dinner. We went back through the drive-through to pick up the order for my customer and as we pull up she looks at me and just waved her hand at me like go away. She asked me what do you want. I told her I had an order for Postmates and she said what’s the number I’ve never seen someone look so fast see if it was actually on the screen. She treated me as though I was a thief in front of my child. I really hate that my daughter had to see me cry and comfort me in the McDonald’s drive-through. Their customer service is horrible. Don’t go...
Read moreUnfortunately, these guys just can't get it right. I often stop here for a quick meal to take home and eat, and, you'd think I would have learned by now to check my order before leaving the window, but no, I keep driving away only to find out my order was mis-filled, or shorted.
Last week, I ordered a Big Breakfast (which includes a Hash Brown), plus two Sausage Burritos, and and an extra Hash Brown. I even checked the package and saw the Hash Brown I ordered, only to find after I got home that the Hash Brown that comes with the Big Breakfast didn't.
During the busy hours, they apparently pre-cook hamburgers and fries, to reduce the wait time at the counter and drive-up window. You can check this for yourself by ordering a hamburger and fries at noon and you'll most assuredly find them lukewarm or cold. Well, I happen to like their fish sandwiches, but I guess they don't get enough orders for fish to pre-cook it, so if you order a Fish Fillet, be prepared for a 5-7 minute wait. I think that's about 2 1/2 minutes to cook, and the rest to make sure it's as cold as the rest of your meal.
Recommendation: If you like the taste of Micky D's food, especially if you like it cold, this is the place for you. The food tastes just like all the other McDonalds locations. After all, it all comes from the same suppliers. But if you want what you ordered, especially if you are expecting silverware for that Big Breakfast, or condiments and napkins, you'd better check that sack before you leave the window, because it's a pretty sure bet your order will be incomplete or wrong, or just...
