Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Edmond

Yummy yummy pizza and really nice people who make it : ) We are huge fans of the Chicago stuffed pizza, but have tried several others as well (the cowboy pizza, all-meat stuffed, Murphy's combo, and the gluten-free crust) and enjoyed them all. It's hard to beat their "price performance" because they always have some kind of deal, coupon, or special offer to take advantage of. $10 Tuesdays are a steal, 25% off coupons are every week, and the occasional 40% coupon is really hard to pass up. The manager MaryAnn is a pleasure to deal with. She will make you feel welcome and that your business is appreciated. I personally witnessed her training a new employee during a very busy period, and even though he had made several significant mistakes, she remained patient with him and didn't make a huge deal of it. She treated him with dignity, which is unfortunately not so common anymore. I have been helped by that same employee on several later occasions, and he has learned to do his job quite well, which gives evidence of good training. We have always been treated very well by the employees that work there. On a couple occasions when I arrived to pick up our order, the employees had their music a lil loud for my taste. But it isn't like that every time we go. We are satisfied customers; and we sincerely appreciate and enjoy both the products and the service at the Danforth Papa Murphy's....

I was in today the 10th. Came in ordered my pizza with an employee named Hayden. All was well there was a new employee that made it incorrectly but not a big deal he used Italian sausage instead of hamburger. When it was handed to me I told Hayden about the mistake, they then unwrapped it and started removing the toppings to remake it. I asked if I could have a fresh one. Hayden slams his hands down and says were not allowed to do that starts rudely asking me whats wrong with it. I told him okay we can refund the purchase or make a new one. He continued to argue as he remade it in such a way that was inappropriate to a level that was beyond unprofessional. He made me a worse pizza intentionally and berated me while doing so to the point I had to interject and say we should just stop talking and finish up so I can leave. Once finished I asked his name and position he gave it to me and as I walked away he was screaming telling me where to leave a review and to do you know what to myself. So here's the review. Ordered 3 Family size pizza's. Had a coupon, which I mentioned when I ordered. Not expired.

When I showed up, they didn't add the discount from the coupon. I showed where I left the coupon on the counter and asked them to apply the discount. The manager came over and asked if she could help. I told her the story. She said, sorry - can't give you the discount.

I was shocked. No reason, just, "no discount".

So I started to leave and she said, "hey, we already made your pizzas aren't you going to pay for them and take them home" I turned around, incredulous with her, and said, "No." and left. Called the main line and shared my experience with this store and the manager. They said the manager would be in touch we me. It's been 90 days and I have yet to receive a call.
