I placed a delivery order in the app with the Edmonds, WA store, which had been the closest store for years, and it took my order and charged my credit card but an hour in when I had gotten no update I called the Edmonds store and got the Manager who told me they had just changed their delivery area and I had to call a newly opened Shoreline store to have them fulfill my order. I called the Shoreline store, which was great and had apparently gotten a reroute through the app of my order, but the Edmonds store, and the app generally, were massive failures. No message that my delivery address was now out of their area. No message that my order was being rerouted. No message for over an hour (when the app aaid it would be 20 minutes) until I called the Shoreline store to check. And the manager from the Edmonds store was abrupt and placed the blame with me for ordering at the "wrong" store and when I asked for her name put me on hold. (The Shoreline store apparently opened a week ago, and I am glad I won't have to patronize the Edmonds store again.) I understand the app is likely supposed to take care of this and notify customers their address is out of a delivery area for a store and direct them to the correct store to use so there are no delays. But the manager at the Edmonds store should have been armed with the correct information -- that the order had been rerouted to Shoreline and did not need to be placed with them anew or had not been started -- rather than blaming the customer for ordering with Edmonds when there was no notice the delivery area had changed. Change can be disruptive, but I am hopeful the management of the Edmonds store and the app generally find a better way to communicate that change to customers. I would have ordered food from somewhere else if I knew how long we...
Read moreI gave this review with no details because I didn't care to but given that I just got a form response thanking me for three stars I should elaborate:
I placed a simple order with this Dominos. I ordered a Pizza, some Stuffed Breadsticks, and several cups of marinara for dipping. When it was delivered to my house the driver neglected to give me the marinara I paid for. No big deal, right?
Well I call them up to see if, hey, maybe they can refund me the money? It's not really a lot, so it should have been no big thing, but I did have to pay for them so that they would be included and they weren't.
I was left on hold for over half an hour and when I called back they had clearly forgotten about me. I asked for a partial refund because of the cups and was told the only possible way to issue me something like a dollar and thirty cents was to charge me for my whole order again and then refund the whole amount of the other purchase several business days later.
Three people spoke to me and none of them knew how to issue a refund, including the manager of the store. The manager did not offer any solutions beyond a blanket offer of a free medium pizza. No apologies were given for leaving me on hold for so long. No offer to replace the sauces and like drive out and bring me some was ever made. I do not live far from this establishment.
I have zero interest in eating here again and will never eat at another Dominos because of this experience. If you live nearby and want a good pizza, try Pagliacci's.
I only gave this place 1 star because 0 is...
Read moreThe person who took my order was VERY friendly, they took the time to double and even triple check my address and my order. They told me it would be about 20-30 minutes. Well, over an hour passes by so I decide to call and ask about my order. I was supposed to get text updates but I didn't receive one like I usually do. Now, the person who answered me was the one I had a problem with. I told them I had waited for over an hour, with no text updates and I was just wondering what happened. I wasn't angry or anything, I was mostly worried my order had gotten lost or something. Or that the person delivering had a hard time getting here because of the snow. The person that answered me immediately off the bat starting ranting at me. They told me they only had 2 people doing deliveries and there were more than 30 deliveries that needed to be done. That it would take 2 HOURS to get my order delivered. I am a very understanding person when it comes to a business being understaffed, because I have been in that position before and it is frustrating. But the fact that they took their frustration onto me, and acted like I was SUPPOSED to KNOW that they were understaffed was super unprofessional. Now I have to wait another hour for my pizza. A simple "we are sorry it's taking so long, we are understaffed, but your pizza is on the way" would have been enough.
Update: I got my pizza after over 2 hours, it was warm, almost cold and the person delivering it was also a bit rude. Very disappointed in...
