Average burger joint (3 stars is my standard). Nothing was extraordinary but nothing disappointed either. Fries were the star of the show, although I wish I was able to get curly fries. Ordered through Uber Eats and there were french fries and criss cut fries, so I assumed the latter were crinkle cut and the former were the curly ones mentioned in other reviews. Anyways, wasn't the case and I got crinkle fries which were pretty solid. Quantity was appreciated as well.
Burgers - Hawaiian, spicy chicken, chicken breast, bacon cheeseburger. Added an extra patty to each and they were each filling for my party. The Hawaiian is interesting as it comes with a pineapple so that was new. The pineapple itself was pretty sour. Chicken breast is literally chicken breast with mayo so I got what I asked for, I guess as the menu describes. Wouldn't get it again but did want to try it.
All the buns could be improved as they're standard without any grilling or anything, but this location does offer alternative buns at an additional price so those may be worth trying. Eyeing the fish and chips for the future,...
Read moreSome pretty excellent burgers here! Fries are also very nice. They've got pretty good shakes, in about every flavor you can think of - they're made with the same kind of syrups most coffee places use, so it may be a touch artifical, depending on what you get. They've also got a few teriyaki dishes on the menu, and gyoza, which seemed a little weird, but hey, it's Seattle, weird is sort of the thing here. We didn't try them, but i may the next time we go. A burger with a side of gyoza instead of fries could be kind of neat.
We got our food to-go, and had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Dining room is fairly small, but that's fine. It seemed like this place used to be maybe a walk-up-only place, and the dining room may have been added on later, but that's just a guess.
Definitely a family run business, which I'm always a fan of.
Give it a shot, and you may be pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely...
Read moreA Must-Try for anyone in Edmonds! My partner and I have lived in Edmonds for the past two years, and honestly drove past this place because it looked a little....well, it looked run down. With the new ownership, the place has new life! We placed an online order for pickup, and although at first a $13 burger brought an eyebrow raise, it was well worth it! The burgers were a generous size, the quality of the ingredients was good. My partner got the BBQ burger, and I got the Hawaiian, them with onion rings and mine with fries. With sides were perfect, I can't say that I've had onion rings that good before!
The new management ( who I presume were the folks that were there when I picked up my order) were delightfully friendly and had our order promptly ready. They also kept our milkshakes in the freezer until we picked them up, which I was really grateful for 🫶🏻
We will be back!...
