Drunken Goat is easily one of my favorites while visiting Edwards! I’ve dined here twice and it’s been a 5-star experience both times. The interiors are very relaxed with Colorado vibes. “Living for the moment” is the motto here, and I can certainly get on board with that when the food and drinks are this good! I absolutely love their bruschetta, especially the Bourbon & Bacon Jam one. Previously when I visited they had a Smashed Avocado with Roasted Tomatoes and a Warm Chèvre with Fig Spread and Apple on the menu - both delicious! For appetizers I highly recommend the Warm Brie Brûlée, it was delightful. The Pimento Cheesesteak was phenomenal and a really well done sandwich. Parking is easy and free, and they even have live music on certain days. There is a good variety of tables inside and outside, but probably the outdoor tables are more popular during the summer. If you are a cheese and wine lover, Drunken Goat is a must stop while you’re in the Beaver Creek/Edwards area! Good food and vibes makes it easy to have great conversations with the ones you love. I will surely be back at Drunken Goat on my next visit...
Read moreWho doesnt love a rude hostess. Came in as a single for a snack. There wasn't any seating available, which is ok. I understand. Decided to take some Mac and cheese as take away and then had to wait twenty mins. for it. A little shocked. The hostess told me that she has a full dinning room and that I could cancel it to explain why something that's premade in the kitchen would take so long. I'm sure the food is probably good or maybe it's over priced trash, never got a chance to eat before deciding a review was necessary. The customer service is trashy. I guess when youre busy you don't have to care 🤷. Standing here waiting for Mac and cheese. Look, if that's the case no problem. As someone who works in a restaurant, there is always a way to talk to customers to help them understand what the restaurant is working with. I'd hate to not mention I'm looking at empty tables. NYC style "better than you" attitude during off season in a mountain town. I'd rather go to NYC for that attitude and especially when the prices...
Read moreWe had lunch here. It's not a comfortable place. It's very loud, and they have those industrial metal chairs that even a regular-sized butt has trouble squeezing into. The service wasn't bad. The food was pedestrian but pricey (a small sandwich and potato chips). A large party showed up, were seated across the middle of the floor, and my wife and I could literally not hear each other talk over the din of voices, screeching chairs on concrete, and inexplicably loud music, the latter of which only added to the cacophony. A party next to us finally left before ordering. However, the main flaw in the comfort department is that they have a large seating area, inside and outside, which can accommodate dozens of diners (and did), many of whom are drinking beer, yet they have only one, unisex, single-seater restroom. If this was only a wine and cheese store and not a restaurant, that might make sense, but it's also...
