I’m so happy that I stumbled upon this lovely cafe on my recent trip to the Edwards/Beaver Creek area. Hovey & Harrison was a real treat, it’s a bakery/cafe with a small selection of market items as well, and what a delight it was! As soon as I entered the cafe I felt the warmth of a hidden gem, with such a variety of market items and a packed pastry case to look at and mesmerize, I immediately knew I was in for a treat! All of the bakery items I tried were absolutely delicious! I ordered the Coffee Cake, Morning Bun, and the Mocha and Maple Macaron. They were all delectable, and I paired it with a London Fog Latte. If I wasn’t on a time crunch, I would have ordered from the cafe menu because they had so many great options. Next time I will be sure to get bakery treats and something savory off the menu. At the time of my visit, they did not have any indoor dining options, everything was prepared in a to go box, and then I sat in the outside seating area to enjoy the treats. They have a lovely set up out front, and the interior of Hovey & Harrison was beautiful as well! Very clean and organized, with a nice rustic charm to it. I admired the unique menu boards that hang on the wall, almost like a giant scroll, very nifty. They also serve cocktails, beer, and wine, so sip sip hooray! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this rustic bakery! The service was fast and friendly, and the team here at Hovey & Harrison have definitely created a space worthy of the Colorado community. Hovey & Harrison is the perfect spot in Edwards to gather around with your family and friends and “eat real food” and enjoy the simple things in life, like a delicious pastry on a beautiful day!

Honestly kind of unimpressed with this place. I was excited to try it, but I had to wait in line for a while to order and then the food took forever to come. We had to ask a server because our food seemed to have been forgotten. When it finally did arrive, it did not taste like anything special. Despite being supposedly fresh / homemade, the ingredients on my tartine did not taste like either. I will say I enjoyed the lemon cookie though - very light and fluffy. And there were lots of other good-looking desserts in the case. Towards the end of our meal, our server was eager to clear our plates and ended up spilling water on us. In all, this is definitely not a bad place. But I don't think it's 5-star material.

This was a cute little cafe in Edwards that is a great brunch place on the weekends. They carry a large amount of local produce, take-away options, and little knick-knacks for purchase as well. A handwritten daily special is also displayed on the wall. They also have assorted pastries in displayed that looked yummy. My friend bought one of their scones and liked it. Warning - go in knowing that you are paying for quality over quantity - it is more expensive than what you would get in Denver, but you're supporting a local business high up in the mountains. I absolutely loved the Abigail toast I got and my friends loved the morning burrito and Springtime in Paris salad.

I have eaten here many times over the past few years and have had a generally favorable experience, although the line is often long and the food slow. But today was the epitome of poor quality food and price gouging. I ordered two macrons ($5 each!) and an energy bite ($6 for a 1.5 cube). Though they tasted okay, I was rudely surprised by the price since the pastry case had no labeled prices. I also grabbed a pre-made turkey sandwich from the case while standing in line. It was disgusting! Bread was soggy on both sides, and it was drowning in mayo. The meat was dry. The greens were brown and wilty; I had to pull them off before eating. For $15, I was unimpressed and couldn't convince myself to eat it all. Although I have enjoyed H&H dozens of times in the past, I think I'll be taking a break until this place gets its act together.

Response to owner: Feel free to check it yourself (my transaction was completed at 11:28am today). I have no idea if these were the "correct" prices, since no prices were on the case. The energy bites were mislabeled in the case. I ordered them by the name they were labeled as, and I was charged $6 for a "bakery bar". When the associate realized the mistake, he made no effort to correct the mis-pricing, so I assumed they were the same price. I recommend your staff occasionally sample your cooler sandwiches. I would be ashamed to sell something like that, even though it was obviously made with high quality ingredients, yet it still turned...

I want so badly to like this place. I do like the atmosphere and most of the customers seem to be enjoying themselves but the three times I've been there, nothing has gone right. The first time, they got my order completely wrong, the person taking the order seemed very distracted by several of the other employees huddling around one of the tables behind the counter, sampling some dish and not helping the other customers waiting for service. The second time, I ordered a decaf and when I double checked when it was handed to me, the employee replied a bit sheepishly that in fact it was not a decaf and said they would make it again. The third time I ordered the $15 salad and it came out looking more like a small side salad with less than half the ingredients in the prepared salads in the to-go cooler and the roasted vegetables listed on the menu were nowhere to be found. When asked, the employee said they were under the lettuce, which they clearly were not. Instead of making excuses, just offer to fix it. He came back with the second try and it did look a bit better. He never apologized but said begrudgingly that I would get a refund for the salad but it never showed up on my account....
