Outstanding local bakery! Our family of five was stuck in Edwards east of Vail Pass during a snowstorm on Monday and while looking for a place to wait out the storm we discovered Panaderia Azteka. Walking through the door we stepped into heaven. So many wonderful smells filling the air, beautiful multicolored pastries everywhere, and behind the counter the owner working his craft beside a giant pile of sweet dough. We were mesmerized watching him skillfully transform small balls of dough into beautiful works of art. He shared with us the story of his parents passing on and his journey to honor them through his baking. To say his food is made with love would be understating things. We tried many different pastries and breads, all of which brought huge smiles to our children’s faces. I recommend this spot to anyone. This unplanned pit stop became a highlight...

I came from Chicago, visiting them in Colorado, and I ordered some pastries. Everything was going well, until someone called me on my phone, and when I answered, they played the music very loudly and were looking at me thinking I was going to go out or do something. I finished eating, and then I give you one star it’s very simple, they don’t know the meaning of respect, you are not at home to do this!! In your work, you must respect your work and your customers. Thank God I did not give you a tip because you do not deserve it.I will never come...
