Not sure why the people of Effingham love this place. I guess if you've never had Thai food before it's all you know. The pad Thai was incredibly bland. It seems they literally just did a stir fry of noodles, chicken and peanuts. Not a bit of sauce or flavor in it. The pineapple fried rice is the same. Not a bit of flavor. The chicken satay was fascinatingly bad. The chicken was both slimy and dry. The sauce was somehow flavorless.

This place is all you could ask for in a Thai Restaurant. I have tried all sorts of Thai restaurants at this point in my life and this one is up there with the best of them. You wouldn’t expect rural Illinois to have this great of an option for southeast Asian food but here it is! I got the massaman curry and my dad got the red curry. Both dishes were exceptional.
