The young guy who works in there blatantly gave off the impression he did want to be at work nor intended to work.
He has a bad attitude. He was sarcastic to me when I asked about the different types of pizza. When I asked for Parmesan and red pepper, he said they were in the bins behind me, yet the bins were completely empty. Completely. There was no parm, red pepper, or even forks or spoons. Not even salt and pepper packets.
He said he would go and grab some for me. He came out to fill the bins and took the liberty of telling me he had JUST put some parm and pepper out a few minutes ago. Clearly, he hadn't. And his defensiveness was off-putting. He acted like he didn't want to do anything he considered extra work, which meant anything more than standing behind the counter.
It was giving "I'm just here so I don't get fired."
Now let's talk about the food. My pizza was so WET, the boxes they were in were falling apart. My son's noodles were hard as though they took yesterday's cooked noodles from the fridge and dipped them in water.
I have NEVER had an experience like this at any other Sbarro location, and I've been to many. I will not be throwing away my hard-earned money at this...
Read moreSbarro really needs to start paying attention here. You keep replying to people's comments, but nothing changes. The food quality is beyond sub-par, something you should be ashamed of considering the standards your business keeps claiming it holds for itself. The attitude of the employees matches the quality of food. Both are horrible and have been horrible here for a while. Something really has to be done, besides telling people to fill out a digital comment card. That obviously doesn't help. Try addressing the concerns in the comments and actually make a change. You have insanely high profit margins here, so you should at least...
Read moreI am a truck driver who stopped to get something to eat at Sabarro. Two girls back there behind the wall laughing when I walked up. The warming bar was empty. They either told me that they didn't have what I asked for or that it would take 10 minutes for them to fix it. As a restaurant in a truck stop, you should have food ready to go because as a truck driver, we can't block the fuel island waiting for food. I left and attempted to call the manager and couldn't even get them to answer. I passed other truck stops because I wanted Sbarro, and left with nothing. Poor customer service on both the...
