Subway — Restaurant in Effingham

My family was on a road trip and pulled into Subway in Effingham…Subway is always a good substitute for fried foods and burgers! Employees were super friendly and had nice attention to detail. They didn’t seem to be shoving me through the line in order to get to the next customer. Even went as far as removing the stems from the banana peppers when placing them on my sandwich. Best Subway in town, and we have like 3 or 4. The "tuna" is my favorite, with olives and spinach and vinegar. I've heard people say the tuna isn't tuna, or even fish. That's seems ridiculous, you can see the flakes of fish so it's definitely fish. Could technically be a fish other than tuna. The chunk light tuna you buy in the stores is technically not tuna, but a related fish, so that's probably what the whole thing is about. Good enough for me. Oh, make sure you get it...

I usually go in to watch my sandwich be made. This time I went through the drive-through for the first time and ask for my sandwich to be lightly toasted, and when I got my sandwich, my bread was hard. My lettuce was so cold that my sandwich and chicken was cold.
