Arby's — Restaurant in El Cajon

I went there and order three of the smokehouse sandwiches with crinkle fries large, I hadn’t had Arby’s in a long time and me and my family were craving it so I took the drive to go get it which was a little bit of a drive. When I got the order I checked Denny gave me curly fries and I told her they gave me the wrong fries. I gave them back to her I hadn’t even got my sandwiches yet so I have not touched them. Manager on duty came around and found out I have the wrong fries and took the fries and kind tossed him down on table and came to me and said I would have to go to the front and park and wait for my crinkle fries with an attitude. The girl who took my order looked a little nervous because I may because she could tell the manager was irritated I don’t know. But for a manager she didn’t even at least apologize for giving me the wrong fries and just kind of like firmly scolding he told me to go in the front and go park at that time I do not wanna wait and my sandwiches to get cold so I told the girl just give me back the curly fries and I left I expect to come in there for a long drive and spend $50 I’d get a better experience and at least apology and also the sandwich is good but it’s very skimpy. I worked many many years on the management team for big retail stores and she needs to have a better attitude for a manager and...

At the drive thru and saw the “three for $5 menu”. I ordered that and wanted a large iced tea since it’s hot today.

I got to the window and now it’s $11.00 and change?? I asked the guy why the huge price difference? A woman came up to the window and said if we wanted to cancel the order she had to charge us again on our card, we paid cash?? Basically she said that you cannot upgrade the 3 for $5 dollar to a large drink. This is ridiculous in the fast food industry, they always try to up sell.

I took a photo of my small slider, small fries and all of these sauces I didn’t ask for.

The slider was not fresh. The meat was stuck to the bun, the mayo looked old and the overall appeal made me wonder if I should even eat it. The small fries tasted pretty good but they were not hot.

The customer service was severely lacking here. I had a guy who was hard to understand while ordering and then the female who jumped in at the pick up window telling me I can’t order a large drink off the value meal deals.

I won’t be going back to this location for food or poor service. There are many other options on both sides of Second Ave. up and...

So first off here is what I ordered, the 2 for $6 bacon beef and cheddar sandwiches, 4 mozzarella sticks, and a medium drink. What was good was the mozzarella sticks and the soda was well a soda. The sandwiches we're pretty bad and here's why and why it may affect your order, the bacon was pretty awful, it tasted old and was pretty brittle and generally I would have opted to not even have it if I knew what it would be like, the bread seemed to be undertoasted as if thier equipment wasn't correctly working which in my opinion also atributes to what I'd describe as poor quality. The meat and everything else was satifactory but unexceptional. As for the staff wasn't rude nor were they upbeat kinda just like another day in the office attitude. Without trying to be harsh especially for a fast food joint, I have worked for a similar restaurant and understand there is a lot that can happen behind the scenes that may lead to a visit such as mine and I have no idea if something like that had happened, it was pretty slow when I went but it may have been rather busy not too...
