STARBUCKS SAVES THE DAY! After being misinformed with false hope at my hotel check-in that the breakfast buffet was going to be open for grab and go; which instead meant the "breakfast" was being handed in a bag of cheap quality gross food that I later gave to a panhandler in a different city. As I checked out of my hotel, I immediately Googled for the nearest Starbucks which wound up being a short drive away, so Starbucks I came. I had the impossible breakfast "burger" and a standard large latte. That ¿burger thing? was almost as good as the normal Hampton Inn breakfast. Difficultly, it is a food item one can eat while holding onto the bag with gloved hands (that contactless style of eating takes practice). Boy, I'm sure glad there was a Starbucks nearby. The latte is just a fulfilling Starbucks Latte that I can't expect any reader to have never tried. In fact, this Starbucks has great parking and one of the most truly fun energetic staffs (I think Number 1) of all the about 25 different Starbucks' that I have stopped at. The best example was how the pastry lady was so slick and "dancy" with those tongs for the oven and the bag. Of course, all of them were wearing gloves and masks and there definitely were visible smiles in their eyes. That was truly one of the greatest Starbucks experiences I have ever had, with or without their super-smooth covid adjustments - which the WITH was the true case. I wish my hometown San Rafael Starbucks' had that fun slick gamey service!

Read moreOverpriced and underfilled! I hit the drive-through at 6:00 in the morning, letting the guy know I had a mug to fill and drove up. He looked baffled until I handed him my Yeti and asked for dark roast brew with no room for creamer. He charged me $2.65 and then went to fill it up. I handed him my lid before he handed it back to ensure I didn't get scalded, assuming my mug was topped off. I got to work and find that my mug was only 2/3 full and lukewarm! I know $2.65 gets me more coffee than that. I'll make my own coffee at home from now on.
01/19/19 What part of MUFFIN do you people not understand????? I ALWAYS order a morning MUFFIN from this store. 8 out of 10 times I get handed a MORNING BUN! Half of those times the label states MORNING BUN! That is a $.30 upcharge that I have to go out of my way to get refunded for.
This morning in particular I stated MORNING MUFFIN TOP. I added TOP so it would get a chuckle, to encourage an accurate order. She repeated morning muffin. When I pulled up, she handed me my coffee and said my morning BUN was coming right up. I said "Morning MUFFIN, correct?" Bewildered, she looked at the friggin screen and said BUN, as if it were a qeustion.

As always we use drive through and the lady on told us to wait to take our order and we kept waiting waiting waiting and than we just drove to the window. And told us did u order ?? We were like you told us to wait ! And we kept waiting. She made it sound nice and she was like okay I will take ur order from the window only this time. We were like alright perfect. After giving her my order. And when we got the drink it wasn't as always that I get and i told her it doesn't looks like what I order..... with terrible attitude she was like just come inside the store. I am not going to make another drink while ur waiting in drive through beacuse there is other people behind us. I was like okay. After we went there and waiting in parking alot.
