If someone told you that mattress shopping was as much fun as Bed Bath and Beyond on a Saturday they are full of it... Too many times in the past I have been fooled by the ten minute education I received in the store by a Mattress specialist only to have the bed delivered and come to find out that it wasn't the right fit and I am stuck with an uncomfortable bed until I dare make another attempt... So it is a chore and I always dread it... This particular Saturday was no different... Five stores in and I had yet to find the 'one'. So a little discouraged, I decided to try Sleep Train before heading into Sprouts for some kombucha and I will never go anywhere else.
They say you get what you pay for and I believe that 100%; however I have spent $1500 on a set and HATED it... I spent a little more than half that and have never slept better!
I was immediately greeted by sales associate Grover, (yeah I chuckled too). He was super friendly and assured me that he would try to put my bed shopping anxiety to rest. He listened to the issues I had on the past, and my current dilemma. He actually educated me on what would be the best for me. Taught me about differences between memory foam, spring and all the rest. He was funny and delightful. Really put me at ease and reassured me that if I get it home and three days later I find it not to be a fit that I won't have to be stuck with it for the next 5 years... Score! And I got a discount on a great mattress for checking in with yelp!
So long story short I write this laying on my epic bed that I'm not sure I'm going to get out of today... It has been a few weeks and no issues, no restless nights, no neck pain or back pain. Read morePurchased a mattress back in September and worked with Scott. I informed Scott what I was looking for and my price point. He had me try out a the options in my price point and I settled for what I thought I needed for my sleep and should pain needs. Well I was wrong. I figured the 120 day exchange policy might be a bit of a hassle as some return or exchange policies are. I called and spoke with Scott and he advised me to come in and we could take a look at what options were available and go over the exchange process. When I got to the store I explained what was going on and what I was looking for... again Scott put me on several different models and took the time to assess the differences in opinion and feeling and provided excellent knowledge on all options. The mattress I decided on was out of my price range and Scott went to work looking at different options for me to meet my budget. He found an almost identical in comparison mattress from the same manufacture that fit my budget. I just got the mattress today, 2 days after purchase set it up and laid on it........ muscles relaxed in 2-3 minutes and I feel great not even getting a nights rest on it yet. Read moreGreat customer service in store before buying the bed, but it ended at the purchase. We were initially told at the time of purchase our bed was out of stock and would be delayed one week, then it was two weeks after checking the computer. We decided that was OK, and I took a day off work for the soonest delivery date. Two weeks later, the day before our bed was supposed to arrive, I was told the truck never shown up to pick up our bed and it would be delayed at least another week. Unfortunately, I already took one day off work and missed the income, and would not be able to request another day off work for the delivery so I had to get a refund on the bed. so not only did I not get the bed, I also missed out on a days income, and missed out on the sale price since I purchased the bed on memorial day.
If you are buying from this location, make sure they have your bed in stock. Also understand there’s a possibility of them delaying your order within 24 hours of the delivery date/time.
Now we are stuck without an bed and missed wages....
