I’ve been a loyal HomeGoods customer for years, but my recent experience at the El Cajon location was incredibly disappointing. After completing a purchase, an employee named Victoria (short, fair skin, blond hair, stocky)—who was not part of our transaction—rudely jumped in, accused us of not paying for an item, and refused to listen. She was confrontational, dismissive, and falsely claimed to be the manager when we asked to speak to one. We later found out she lied about her position when we did find the actual manager. The prices were okay and pretty much the same as what I see anywhere else. I didn't not Like it but there wasn't a single thing that I saw that I had to have or couldn't do without. I don't feel as though I'm missing out if I never return. And there isn't anything that I would say that I want or need or even like enough to shop there on a regular basis. The store was small too for the amount merchandise they are sellinhg. It seemed over crowded which made it look chaotic and me feel slightly...
