Subway definitely going downhill. These new POS systems they've installed to replace real people are not just inconvinent, but completely take the whole experience that Subway was founded on away. That personal customer service of being able to watch your sandwich being made, and watch everything that went i to it. Now we don't even have the option to order the "Old School" way. Online orders take priority over in-store orders, and with only one employee working thr counter, you can just imagine the extended wait time. On top of that, the floors in the store were covered in dried mud, and dirt everywhere. When is the one employee ever going to have the opportunity to stop sandwich making to keep the storefront clean and sanitary? The fridge was completely out of certain bottled drinks, two flavors on the fountain drink machine were out of syrup, cool of you like club soda/mineral water instead of raspberry tea, and the chip display was out of certain flavors or chips. To which the employee said, we have other flavors, just pick one. The quality has definitely been overshadowed by the price and the lack of personality Subway once had. Has Subway completely forgotten that there is still a generation out here that is still technologically impaired? If you're part of our 3rd generation elders who still don't have a grip on technology, make your tuna sandwich at home. Not worth the trip, or your money. This business model only goes to show that Subway has finally stepped into caring only about the Bottom-Line over Quality and Customer Service.    Read moreI placed an order online, only to receive a call about 20 minutes later informing me that the store was out of wraps for both of the sandwiches I had ordered. While I agreed to switch to regular bread, I was then told that my pepperoni dipper also could not be made without the wraps. So 3 of my 3 items ordered they couldnât make it.
When I asked for alternative options, I was offered a bag of chips, which was not an equivalent replacement for the $4 item I had ordered. The employee then suggested three cookies valued at $2.19, which still did not match the cost of the original item. I inquired about a refund and was told that a refund was only possible if I canceled the entire order. She said if I gave you anything else it would come out of my own pocket and I would have to pay for it. I said why is that my issue, your out of items so you rather me pay extra for items that cost less??
Attempting to find another solution, I asked about replacing the item with a foot-long cookie or a churro, only to be informed that both were also out of stock. Frustrated, we decided to cancel the order and try a different Subway location, only to encounter the same issue: they were out of almost everything. I also have to wait 7 days to get my refund.
