Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in El Cajon

This day and age, my business philosophy is that customer service trumps everything else. I'm also as reasonable person as you will find, without being a push-over. Bye bye Main St. Wienerschnitzel. My pride, wallet and waistline will benefit from this boycott.

A business can make a mistake, take too long or anything else, but if you customer thinks that you put them first, they'll come back. If your customer thinks that you don't care about them, they'll find another place to go. I'm definitely one of those people who will hold a grudge against a business if they make it apparent that they don't care about helping me out. I haven't sent a dime to AT&T for 25 years for that very reason.

Look, Wienerschnitzel is Wienerschnitzel as far as food goes, but after this, I'd have been happier (and better off) if I'd walked across the parking lot and gotten a burrito or some tacos.

I needed to get water for my fish tank and there are some water vending machines next door to this location so I figured I get Wienerschnitzel while I was there. I brought some $1 bills, thinking that the vending machines would take bills or a credit card. They only took quarters. No problem, I'm getting lunch, so I'll get $3 worth of quarters when I order lunch.

Well, after ordering $15 worth of food, I ask if they would exchange my $3 for 12 quarters. Nope. I said, really, I just ordered $15 worth of food and you can't just make $3 worth of change? "We don't have time to go to the bank" was the response. They had quarters, by the way. The cashier even checked with someone (who seemed to treat her like a jerk) who seemed to...

Avoid this place at all cost! So I ordered some Chile Dogs, but guess what? No Chile on them. No joking, there was less than a small spoonful, ( see photo) So I called and complained, but they acted like too bad etc..I only wanted them made properly, but the lousy manager never even addressed the situation, he put in on the kid worker, but his hands were obviously tied, I even brought them back (with receipt), but I got nowhere fast because manager never even greeted me, like I said, he put it on the kid worker.. I have been going to Weinersnizel for years and the Chile Dogs are pretty good, but not without the Chile! ..Also, if you check my reviews, I never give bad reviews, or only one star, but this story needs to be told. I know about shinkflation, etc, but I also know when I am ripped off! Why sell a Chile Dog without the Chile??? Avoid this place at all cost! You will get ripped off on the Chile...Most likely on the fries also and everything else.. Forget about it. There is a Rally's right next door...

Long time ago they released $1.99 kids meal (now is $2.99). Even they printed white milk, mini corn dogs and dessert (I dont remember, it could be apple slices) on coupon, but they always charged $0.50 extra for the milk. So, it is misleading coupon since I didnt find any note for extra charge, even not in the restaurant. The other day we use that coupon, they have kid cup as toy. Without notice in advance, they ignore our request to have white milk (on coupon has white milk pic as well). I asked about it and he said : well you can fill that cup with fountain drink there. I replied : first I dont allow my kid to drink soda or sweet/artificially sweetened beverages and second, I need to wash this new cup before first use and third, it is clearly printed on coupon there is a bottle of whitemilk.
