Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in El Cajon

So I come here a lot because I like Popeyes . But this place always used to serve me cold soggy fries. Now I ask for fries that are crispy and hot but I’ve been in the drive thru for 20 minutes before. The parking lot is small and get busy but man drive thru takes forever. Then once I had to wait in front of the store with no parking since it is so busy just sonI could get my fries hot. Once I told the person in drive thru I wanted my fries hot and he said they can’t do that lol I had to say not spicy but crispy and hot is the “key” phrase now! And no ice! You upgrade to a large and get all ice! Anyways, I quit going inside and all I saw were a bunch of fat Mexican women that ignored me when I had an online order placed before I got there. So they are screwed up here! Consumers are asking for a better location by their home that is not so busy and hard to get out of, but also one with better service overall! The quality here is bad. When you go inside you will be disgusted by the people handling your food. Fat ugly mexican women lol. Lazy and sloppy work that takes too long! I’d go to kfc but I worked at one once and after I saw how coleslaw is prepared and pretty much any side besides macaroni and cheese, I was done with the entire franchise. The next closest Popeyes is about 17 miles one way so El Cajon consumers want another one to open up so we can get the quality we deserve for such expensive chicken these people are cranking out for a living! One can tell by how busy it is at this location but how slow the service is, inside and be out! I am very disappointed with my last visit I got what I asked for but they made we wait for popcorn shrimp and then when I got home after a lot of traffic to get less than 3 miles I was skimped on big time with the shrimp! And no one in the drive through was friendly at all! I got looks as if I am a problem for wanting hot French fries and no ice in my drink lol lol the app doesn’t have an option for no ice like Taco Bell does, so I have to ask. Also the app does not have an option for comments like “ hot French fries” lol. I mean, is it too much to ask for some crispy and hot French fries when you are paying about $15 after tax for a chicken sandwich a small mashed potatoe and drink lol these workers are lazy and the managers are too for not checking on this to make sure their customers are delivered quality. These are instant sides that are microwaved, opened from a can, or rehydrated with boiling water lol! Least they can do is deliver a hot small fry with my order that isn’t just hot, but crispy! I’ve had reheated food from this place too. You ask for “hot French fries” and you get soggy hot fries. Now you have to literally specify to these people “ crispy” and “hot!” Little nugget of advice I’ll share with you...

There was a young lady whose name started with an M who tossed packets of hot sauce at me. I’m human and I know could have been an accident but when I confronted her about it she couldn’t look at me in my face then she doubled down on why she did what she did, by saying she was busy. Oh, I think I was seeing red. I asked her to bring her manager to help us both understand the situation and still never once did she apologize or even try to fix herself and the situation. Still, she fiddling with whatever is in the drawer as I explain to her male manager what she’s doing. His response was, that he looked down and over at her and said M, did you just do that? Her last response was; “it’s busy” before I just had to storm out. I gathered myself in the car and talked to my friend on the phone. Called some other friends just to be sure I wasn't bugging and no I wasn’t. So I went back in and asked for the male manager and the Girl with the M name again. Listen, I know it’s busy, it's lunchtime. But that's no excuse for throwing hot sauce packets on the countertop to customers who asked for more. Girl u could have played it cool and should have been like omg I'm so sorry I didn't mean to sling hot sauce packets all across the counteract towards you. Picked them up and put them in my bag which should have been in the 1st place. The male manager I think was in shock. He didn't know what to do.

Follow up: walked my happy tail back into the little store because I wanted to find her because I lost the paper I wrote her name on and still called cooperate on her. The head women Manager I ran into was AMAZING. She listened to me, she reviewed the schedule to narrow some girls down. So apologetic and understand. I could tell that some general cared about what happened to me in her store. I am super grateful for her. This Popeyes location is crazy small; inside, outside, and parking lot. And during rush hours it gets busy I understand but you can only service 1...

I always enjoyed Popeyes. The chicken and the customer service is usually very good, but this time I had one of the worst fast food experiences ever. I came through the drive through with my friend and order food. I make it to the window and here comes this rather fat and rude girl( dont know her name..just know she's fat). Tells me the amount to pay and takes my card and slams the window. I waited about 3 minutes to get my card back and another 4 to get my food ready. She comes hands my food, as I give my thanks, she slams the window. So, me having a habit of looking through my order for missing food. Found out that I was missing a lot of the sauces I order. Now granted I didn't mind paying 25 cents for each sauce, but since my friends and I were all eating the big meal. I bought 4 of each sauce. She only gave me 1 of each. So, I drive through the drive through again. I tell her nicely that she forgot the sauces, she tells me I'm wrong and that It was inside the boxes. I show her and she goes inside and get more sauces. The coworkers were all extremely rude and talking bad about us while we waited( which I understand that getting a lot of sauces is a bit funny, but they get paid to serve food in a professional way ..I hope). As I pull out my card to pay for the sauces, since at the time I believed she might of not charge me for them. She comes up and hands me a bag full of sauces and while I was apologizing and trying to explain why I needed all the sauces. She slams the window on me again! It would all of all been fine if the chicken was not cold.....which is was. Hope they replace the girls working there for better ones...especially...
