Nation's Giant Hamburgers — Restaurant in El Cerrito

This is second visit to nations. 1st time reviewing them. Do not recall much after the 1st which was in Sacramento. It must have been above all deCent because these days it seems that old rule that states basically you can have 100 experiences and 98 are good or better. Those 2 that weren't ok will stand out and regretfully the current state of eating out especially late night brings with it us having to navigate much attitude and insolence with no fear of managerial reprisal. It takes some patience and some pushback to get through it and then you find out that no fear of reprisal thing? Yeah that exists because complaining to managers just results in the customer getting tag teamed by the employee and manager it's quite ridiculous. That all being said this time I pledged to make sure to appreciate this experience while experiencing it because of how different it was The order was lively and because of my wife and myself having just visited our friend John blaze just assume there were some audible late in the play add ONS and what not. The two ladies working not only filled the order at 2 am perfectly, all of the surfaces both in the restaurant and restrooms were so clean that even though I had yet to see my food I knew there wasn't anything to worry about. the reason we decided to hit up nations happens to be that we had just seen reviews of a more mainstream burger chain and those reviews were why we were a hard pass. In other words they were not favorable reviews. Mush ado about cleanliness. .so don't tell me reviews are meaningless. Ive left a few recently. Reviews that is. Scathing only this far. I've never been that guy. I can complain like nobodys business. I've proven that. So I really want to make sure and give the places and people a shout out when possible. It's important to harbor positivity and higher vibrational aspirations these days. As long as I intend to call out the negativity and abuses in and amongst retail and food businesses I am pledging to send up the good as well as the bad. I ordered a chicken sandwich by phone a picked it up last night. I drove 2 miles to home and opened it. It was cold, the bun was burned black, and the chicken was one half the size of the bun. I tore off half the bun and gave it to my dog. He took a bite of the chicken and walked away. We went to McDonalds for sausage egg McMuffins (2 for $6.00 - less than the cost of the half chicken sandwich on burnt bun). SHOULD BE CALLED "Nations MINI Burgers". I have had their hamburgers before: they are by no means GIANT either. Big buns little meat. But at least the hamburgers are consistently the same size and close to size of the bun, not half the size. The employees tear off pieces of the chicken served to customers and take them home.

The manager stated: "That's the way they send it to us, so we have to gibe it to the customer that way. (When brains were passed out by God, she was only given half). Obviously, the problem is with management. It must be happening to a lot of people, because I very rarely see them busy anymore when I drive by. The Servers are so dang gone rude when they take your order. They always want to finish your sentence 🙄. If the server was to shut up & listen, they can hear what you want.

ORDER: 4 Hamburgers, no onions, no mayonnaise, no tomatoes. 1 order of french fries and 2 orders of onion rings.

SERVER REQUESTED: 4 Bacon 🥓 Cheeseburgers 🍔 everything on them! 4 orders of french fries, and 2 orders of onion rings. 😂🤣 all of that food went into the garbage can. Literally!!!!!! The server had to retake the order and I did not pay for the incorrect order 😂😂😂. When the Manager realized what was going on, he asked the server what happened. She told'em she thought that's what I wanted even though I did not order it! She said it was because most people want bacon & cheese on their burgers. 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, she tried to give me what she wanted me to have & charge for it.
