Great China Super Buffet — Restaurant in El Dorado

Very small food selection. My husband and I fixed our plates and didn't even eat it. I went to the front and spoke to the "manager" to let her know that the food was cold and old. She told ne that no one else was complaining. And that we had to pay for the plate that we didn't eat. I told her to go and check our plates and see that we couldn't eat that food. She said once again that we had to still pay. She even picked up her phone to call the cops. All the food was cold and off temperature. Never will I go there ever again. Bad service and off temperature food. First thing Monday I will be calling the HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Because they are going to get someone SICK or worse...KILL someone with that off temperature food. I wish that I could give them less than one star. That food that they were serving was fit for the TRASH. DATE:10/28/22...

Their food was cold the rolls tasted like they were two days old and reheated. Then they proceeded to accuse one of my friends of stealing three dollars off the counter. The three dollars he had pulled out of his pocket to give them a tip. We tried to explain that it was his and that the girl that worked there also had came over there and got the money that’s was there’s off the counter. She didn’t believe us and threatened to call the cops (over three dollars). So he broke down and gave her the three dollars because he is black and cops are crooked nowadays and he didn’t want no trouble. One of the only places I found in town during my stay that had tofu on the menu. I went here 4+ times during my stay for dinner. I got tofu mixed veggies every time - which is vegan. The folks that run the place are really kind, patient, and accommodating in a town of limited options for someone that doesn't eat meat/dairy/eggs. They answered my questions and even remembered my order after a few times.

The bean/curd veggies dish itself is delicious and I was happy to eat it every night on my business trip here. As close to a real Chinese restaurant as I could hope for out here. I look forward to coming back the next time my travels bring me...
