Venetian Nails and Spa — Local services in El Dorado

This experience was disappointing for a pedicure. 1 my wife and I sat in water for over a 1:34 minutes had to refresh the water 5x seriously 5X who does that. 2 final get on our feet and does such a rush job that they drilled above the cuticle not only mines but my wife as well... mind you I bleeding like a mf-er she like hhhmm pointing to it like it was already there uh no ma'am you did that rushing and looking around not paying attention to what she's doing I understand you do this everyday but I know you have to watch what you're doing as well. So now this is whole scene is unsanitary she then got the scrub brush running it up and down not across the nail. Busted that cut wide open then you'd think she would clean those tool because these the tool you're using on everyone everyday uh nope she had no choice then to stop bleeding like crazy no I'm not liking where this is headed then sprays alchohol on it and put some type gel that burned like hell. I'm getting frustrated now because I didn't get no apology for her f-up. She finished my pedicure but I'm very concerned about it because I don't anyone else experiencing what I did I'm sore as hell 24hrs later as I'm typing this hurts to put socks on. I could've been offered a discount or something nope I got overcharged so no tip but I got a tip it doesn't involve money pay attention you're on ppl feet we have to work on them to support our families and our everyday tasks whatever we may do I may been a man but damn-it I hurt just like the next person I'm trying to keep healthy feet not cut up feet your feet is where you take everything in and that's why we go get our nails done not only for relaxation but to detox our bodies from bad toxins. Sorry this got lengthy I had to get this off my chest because I'm still sore I would post a picture but I don't want to discourage ppl to use these ppl I just expressed my experience on yesterday with them and she may was having a bad day I don't know but you don't rush on ppl feet and you pay attention to your job if you don't this job go do something different...

Went into this salon to receive a full face wax. I honestly knew from the beginning that getting waxed at a nail salon was a horrible idea, but was desperate due to excess hair growth and not being able to get an appointment with the person who usually does my waxes. I had been to this salon before to get a pedicure and had never had an issue so I figured everything would be ok. Halfway through my wax, Wendy stated that bumps were starting to appear on my face but she believed it was because of the amount of hair that I had and that she had something for it. Trusting this statement I let her continue to finish. After she was finished, but before revealing her work, she assured me that my face looked much better than before which was a total lie. She finally gave me a mirror to see and my face was swollen and broken out in hives to the point that I was almost unrecognizable. I told her this had never happened before and asked what kind of wax was used, she stated, "coffee wax". It has now been 3 days and my face is still swollen and broken out, even after taking Benadryl and doing a few home remedies. After consulting with a licensed esthetician, I truly believe this salon isn't following proper sanitation guidelines. I wish there was an option to give ZERO stars because after this experience 1 star is being way too modest. If you're considering getting waxed at this salon please please reconsider and go to someone you know for a FACT is licensed...

I had a nail situation and my regular spot is closed this week. The Venetian is nice and clean. That’s the good. The girl who was assigned to do my nails couldn’t speak a word of English and my nails are the result. She was apparently first week on the job or at least still training but was left alone. She ground my nails down when I didn’t want anything but some gel polish which I get 100% of the time and NEVER have had my nails ground from bed to tip. I asked why...No answer bc she doesn’t speak English so she just ignores I said anything. She was on her phone and filing my nails so she cut 2 cuticles. One already swollen and red. I like my nails to be square rather than round. The edges on every nails are so jagged they catch on everything. The color job....I came in bc I had some crafting go wrong and have a business meeting Monday. I look like a stripper. Cannot...
