Cafe Del Sol & Tortilleria Del Sol — Restaurant in El Paso

Their food was SO delicious! The rice, the beans everything was so fresh! We tried their carna asada tacos and they came with churro beans ! Their meat was thinly sliced and tender. The tacos had caramelized onions and it was complimented well with their red salsa and lime. Their caldo de res was delicious ! Vegetables were cooked just just, the broth was clear and the meat was tender , no fatty pieces. The huevos montados on red enchiladas were the favorite! Their enchiladas have a distinct taste and not spicy! The flautas were fresh and not hard. The huevos rancheros were also very good and we loved their homemade sauce. I give them an A+ and we highly reccomend to try their food...

Delicious Mexican food! The first time I visited, I purchased Barbacoa, and it has the real flavor of Mexican barbacoa, hard to find in El Paso, well served with tortillas, salsas, and lemon. The second time, I tried the enchiladas Rojas, the plate is served with "frijoles refritos con totopos" and rice, the red Chile it has real flavor of made locally with prefect flavor, plate is well served that I couldn't finish it. Before they serve you, "totopos" corn chips are served with sauces, the "salsa tatemada" is really really good! Place is clean, and it seems recently remodeled with Mexican touch, at very good prices. Definitely I will come back and I recommend this...

They have Atole de Chocolate A.K.A Champurrado A.K.A Atole Champurrado A.K.A Mexican Hot Chocolate. Some use them interchangeably, but there is a difference in the two (Champurrado and Atole De Chocolate) based on the ingredients and how authentic it is and all that, but this place is pretty traditional and authentic.

They even have a little supermarket to buy stuff. The food is delicious and everything they make I like it. Fresh tortillas!

Definitely give it a shot. They're in the process of remodeling, so let's see what it looks like when they're done.
