Dominguez Mexican Food Restaurant — Restaurant in El Paso

Went there for the last time after the old lady at the counter who is probably the owner called me a "horrible person" after her credit card reader was failing and blamed it on my card. I told her nothing wrong with my card but may be her system. She insisted it was my card and asked if I had cash. I told her no even though I did but after 4-5 attempts my card was accepted. I told "you see, my card does work, it's your system" and she replied "no your card doesn't work" I was floored! I said that I had just proven her wrong and she said "I'm never wrong, 100% always right and your card does not work". I said, "this is horrible" and she snapped back "you're horrible!". WOW!! I asked her if this is how she treats all her customers and she replied, "only horrible ones like you!". NEVER AGAIN especially since their food quality has been declining for the last few moths. Enjoying our week as a family so we decided to try a traditional place in El Paso. There are just restaurants with longevity and Dominguez is set place with name recognition. Nice looking place with established clientele. The personnel are customer friendly. The restrooms very clean at the back of the main dinning room floor. The kids ordered chicken strips and cheese burgers. Wife had Tacos Desebrada and I had Rib Eye with eggs. The kids meals are what can be expected in a traditional Mexican restaurant. The Desebrada tacos were ok and what is expected nothing fabulous. The meat was flavorless yet it had some flavor added with the red salsa. The eggs were overcooked with a very hard yolk. Sadly even though the food and service are great these people don't recognize the needs of handicapped people. The overly slanted ramp to get in and out of the restaurant are dangerous. I almost fell trying to leave. The overly high ramp going down to the bathrooms was also dangerous. One of the waiters helped me. If there were handrails it would really help. I love the food but it is too dangerous for me to go there. The handicapped ramp outside by the handicapped parking place in the front is not even a real ramp. It is slippery.
