I was inside with only 3 other people. A woman was standing at the donut counter for over 20 minutes before anyone finally took her order for some donuts and a coffee drink of some kind. This was after she finally complained to a guy who kept bringing out more and more donuts but who mumbled something and kept right on doing what he was doing and otherwise ignored her. When she finally paid for her donuts and drink she was then directed to go wait in the coffee line behind another guy who was also waiting the entire time I was there to get his drink order filled. One more lady now in front of me took another 8 minutes to get 12 donuts and no drink. My 6 donut order (I knew better than to order a coffee as the other two drink customers were still waiting and we're never completed before I left) took about another 6 minutes. During this entire time, there were about 6-8 employees, including the ice cream ladies, all running about looking very busy but not actually filling any orders. By the way, there were zero ice cream customers so they could have helped with the non-ice cream customers. A couple of times I heard two of the employees state that they couldn't help because it wasn't their job when customers complained. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I believe I have ever experienced. Furthermore, EVERY time I visit in the evening, they NEVER have old fashioned and almost never have chocolate cake donuts of any kind. On this day, they still had no chocolate cake donuts of any kind and it was around 11 am. I at least found that they had a few old fashioned donuts, yay! I've been told that if I ever want old fashioned, I have to get there early. If they are that popular, why not plan for that and make them more frequently? This is consistently the worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever visited. I can't wait for the new Rio Rancho location to get built. I can only hope they will actually care and do things right. Oh, to say at least one good thing, the 4 old fashioned and the two blueberry cake donuts were at least good. No coffee though, bummer. Oh yeah, the drive thru line was horrendous....no way was I going to...
Read more3 is tops for a chain. It's Dunkin, once you've had it anywhere, you've had it everywhere. Went through the drive-thru, and was greeted by the creefully scripted "Welcome to Dunkin would you like to try our blah, blah, blah." I had ordered through the app, which I let her know, and she said to go to the window. As I waited I wondered, "How many people sit through the script just to tell her that they ordered on the app?" And "How many times does she go through the script before deciding to change the script to, "Did you order using our mobile app?"" Then, "Once she changes the script, how quickly will the one in 99 person who orders at the speaker show up and say, "No, but I'd like to try that new blah, blah, blah."" I bet it would be the very first person she asks if they ordered on the app. We live in a weird world full of strange coincidences, so why risk it? Just go to Dunkin, order a cruller and a coffee and start your day off nicely. They're very consistent so it'll...
