Gabriel's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in El Paso

A couple of weeks ago I called in to order a Pollo Ranchero plate & a Green Enchiladas plate for takeout. Even though I specifically stated what type of Enchiladas & Pollo I wanted, the gut that answered the phone still asked me what kind of enchiladas I wanted……whether Cheese, Chicken or Ground Beef. 🙄 When my husband came home with the order, I discovered that they had still gotten my order wrong & given me the Pollo Asado instead of the Pollo Ranchero which I unfortunately did not like or eat. To make matters worse, the Charro Beans were nothing but Bean “Broth” with maybe like 5 Pinto Beans in it!!! I called them the same day to complain. I spoke to a Veronica Gomez who told me that it must have been the Manager who took my order because he was at the register at the time I ordered. She apologized for the mixup & told me that she would get an authorization for either a refund or a discount for next time I ordered & said she would call me back. I waited about a week but no one ever returned my call so I called them & explained my situation but I was told that Veronica was not there & they didn’t even offer to have her return my call or to speak to the Manager! As of today, no one has ever called me back! Very poor & unacceptable Customer...

There restaurant is nice and the decor is a mix of modern and older rustic Mexican style. The food is excellent, but takes forever to get. My hungry family waited almost 40 minutes for our meal. The wait staff leave something to be desired. We didn't see our server for the majority of time in the restaurant and drinks were we're emptied and only got refilled when our food got to our table. I would only come here if I had time and wasn't starving for a meal and two to three hours to spare. Also I need to mention that when we asked for a children's menu they directed us to use a QR code on the table now internet service is sketchy at best here and I could not access it but my sister was able to with a 5G connection and the menu contained only breakfast items for children. The server was knowledgeable about what was on the kids menu and told us what was there but I find it rather inconvenient to use this type of digital media when it has not been updated and looks...

Went to eat dinner to somewhere close to where we where because we were hungry. but I regret it eating there food was blah no flavor at all. We ordered two Mexican Plates and a tortilla soup. It is worth driving the extra mile somewhere else. My daughter and I eat the Mexican food it had no flavor at all the taco was soft and no tomatoes, just had lettuce, cheese, and some kind of meat red enchilada was dry and not enough red sauce and just a couple of streeps of cheese. Chile rellenos hardy had no cheese and I was had to cut with knive , rice was dry no flavor, beans where to hard and no flavor Plate look really big for the amount of food that had, the tortia soup my friend said it tasted like water was not spicy it had more soup/ water then chicken and vegetables. I paid about $ 40.00 dllrs they charged me $3.00 dollars for using a debit card, and waitress expected a tip don't know why never around for refills of our drinks. Sorry could not give...
