Good Coffee — Restaurant in El Paso

I'm glad so many people have had a great experience here, I am, but I've eaten here 2x now and both have been medicore at best, this time around I decided not to get to complicated and order a bacon cheeseburger, what I got was anything off the sort. I received a burger with only, meat, cheese, and so much mayo It had to be a joke when making the food, I could not eat it, also this food was completely uncooked, we spent 50$ on this food, and got no refunds, the days off keeping mom and pops afloat during the pandemic are over, the quality off food out the door needs to get better, your money deserves better then what these kitchens put on your plate these days, nevertheless, if you value your health, avoid this place, any establishment that can't put together a basic American cheeseburger should quit while their ahead. Good quiet little restaurant. Mexican food was ok, coffee was ok we got the enchiladas montadas and menudo with a side of pancakes.....as usual I forgot to ask the waitress to bring the pancakes until later, 😥 The menudo was good, flavor was ok, not too spicy but still missing something. The enchiladas were decent, got the red sauce, could have used a little more seasoning and I wanted a over easy but it was just shy of being a fried hard. The beans seemed like the were canned but over all I can say the food is good. The initial waitress we got was nice but she barely checked up on us and the waitress that brought out our food was very attentive and made sure we had coffee and if we needed anything..... This is the neighborhood Mexican restaurant you bring you parents and grandparents to for a simple, good meal. My dad and I would come multiple times a week for breakfast when I lived here and still come at least once or twice each time I'm visiting. The staff is sweet, cooks area great, and the atmosphere is calm. We've been coming for so long, at least one of the waitresses recognizes us and greets us with such great familiarity and recognizes our usual orders.
