El Rincon De Villa — Restaurant in El Paso

Food is excellent but the service from all the waitresses is extremely bad. I have to beg to get them to give me a refill on my drink. Anything extra I ask for napkins, drink, food, whatever they always say yes but always fail to bring it. I leave very good tips in hopes for better service but they never improve. Thank god I had a bottle water in my purse or I would have choked to death because I asked for water 4 times and they never brought it. There are three waitresses so its not like she was overwhelmed. I even had to beg for the check because the waitress was too busy reading the newspaper. Best food in town but worst customer service in town. If the food wasn't good I wouldn't put up with this. First time here. Food was decent. But waitress seemed to be in a bad mood or something. I didn't get her name but she looked kind of young, dark skin with highlights in her hair. Her people skills need to improve. We had said we weren't going to go anymore but since it's so close by our work and needless to say our other co workers go there often. We decided to give it another try. Once again we got the same waitress she didn't seem to be in a a bad mood this time but she definitely took her sweet time and didn't even come to check up on us. The caldo I received was incredibly disgusting. It was basically just a styrofoam cup of grease with no vegetables, two small pieces of low quality meat and old black cilantro floating in the grease. I had just had surgery and wasn’t able to cook for myself so I ordered it hoping for something somewhat nourishing. Instead, I was given an oily, greasy mess that looked and smelled so unappetizing, I couldn’t even take a bite without gagging.
