Firstly
It seems that my - (initial review) - have gone missing, so its time for another entry and I should also mention that I am in a wheelchair...
~ I (also) visited JV&B's during last summer, so this review is from that experience.
~ As mentioned, I am in a wheelchair and I had a Friend visiting from outside the EP area and we were looking for a different place to grab a burger as we tried all the - "so-called" - perfect burger places in EP.
~ We did a search on our mobiles, after the initial place we went to was closed, and we saw the name JV&B and decided to check it out.
~ RECCE
We arrived in the vicinity and my Friend jumped out and did a a RECCE of the area to see how I could make entry. if it wasn't accessible then the place wasn't for me.
~ JV&B's is located in the older/historical part of El Paso and in a older building with the front entry which is close to the street.
~ which unfortunately has no real side-walk, its more like a pathway, than a side-walk - however - there's parking behind the building and easy access to enter from the back.
~ so we decided to check the place out...
~ ACCESS
~ Even though the building was historical, my chair had no issues on entering and it was easy to move about inside along the floor without issue.
~ AMBIENCE/FEEL
Upon entry, I instantly felt at home, as the ambiance hit me right away, it was VERY inviting, artistic, and inspirational. we made the right choice in coming to JV&B's.
~ INTERIOR VISUAL
~ I love historical old buildings, as they just have that feel that no other can sense, so we sat in a section nearest the front doorway.
~ I was looking around at the buildings architecture (then) the artwork that was displayed on the walls and how bar was set up, which had rows of liqueurs, beers that were available and added displays.
~ everything melded perfectly together, further establishing that - "this" - was the place to be.
~ I also noticed a charging station for your mobile that was available there.
~ PERSONNEL/STAFF and INTERACTION:
I ordered a burger and fries, my usual whenever I go to a new place, as that's what I order to determine how the place will be like.
Once the order was made, the personnel, barmaid, everyone, was VERY friendly and sociable, which is important to me (because) I am not too sociable, but because of the friendly interaction, I opened up more towards conversation.
Particularly, the barmaid that was present there, when we were there.
she was awesome as F*K! as she went to each of the patrons, sat down, spoke with each in friendly chit-chat, and was always attentive, ensuing that everything was perfect while we were there,
~impressive.
~ COFFEE
I am a heavy coffee drinker, so I ordered a coffee with a coke chaser. (I drink a coke after drinking coffee) just a routine I have and what I personally call it.
~ the coffee was made perfectly, the way I like, it was hot and the serving was huge so I took my time in drinking it
~ FOOD
~ the order didn't take long to come back.
It was nice and hot, perfectly made, and was played out visually to be pleasing. ~ which impressed me.
I took one bite and I was in HEAVEN!! ~ OMFG!
~ it was savoury, tasty, and perfect . . . its been a long while since my taste-buds exploded in happiness like that.
~ END RESULTS & OPINIONS
This is El Paso's - "hidden gem" - and is the perfect - "get-a-away" - to just sit, relax, enjoy good food, be inspired and enjoy the ambience.
~ After the initial visit, my Friend and I returned for another visit, just to be sure that what we experienced was - REAL - and (yes) it was.
~ I enjoyed my experience at JV&B's and I would recommend anyone to come visit them to enjoy this unique place, you shan't be disappointed!

Read moreWhenever we're in need of a top-notch brunch, Joe and Vinny & Bronsons in central El Paso is our go-to spot. This eclectic gem never fails to impress and has rightfully earned its place at the top of our list.
The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a delightful mix of vintage furniture, vibrant artwork, and quirky knick-knacks that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you feel instantly at home, and the diverse crowd only adds to the inclusive, welcoming vibe.
Given its popularity, there was a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. I'd recommend arriving with some time to spare, especially on weekends. Once seated, the service was attentive and friendly, with staff members exuding a genuine passion for their food and coffee.
For brunch, I ordered the red chilaquiles with eggs and a side of French toast, accompanied by a hot latte. The red chilaquiles were a revelation – perfectly crisp tortillas drenched in a rich, flavorful sauce, topped with fresh eggs cooked to perfection. The French toast was a delightful contrast, beautifully golden with a soft, custardy interior, and a hint of cinnamon that made it irresistible. My latte was hot and robust, providing the perfect complement to the meal.
What sets Joe and Vinny & Bronsons apart is the unique twist they bring to classic dishes. Each bite is delicious, showcasing their commitment to quality and creativity. The menu also caters to various dietary preferences, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
Overall, my experience at Joe and Vinny & Bronsons was fantastic. The ambiance, service, and, most importantly, the food, exceeded my expectations. It's a must-visit for anyone in El Paso looking for a memorable brunch spot. Just be sure to plan ahead...
Read moreMy husband and I went for brunch. It was pretty full but the hostess said as long as we don’t sit at the largest back table it was fine. We picked a square table where we could sit at the corners for closer conversation since it was pretty loud in there. After getting our waters and coffee and ordering, one of the hosts came over and pretty unapologetically asked us to move to the next table, small round for two. It was a bit awkward cause he was just pretty matter of factly and we were kinda put off but it’s a busy day and we’re not jerks so we understood wanting to seat the the larger party. It was whatever so we moved our stuff with no courtesy from him and to be honest it killed the vibe. We had to change our conversation as we were now at opposites of the table, further apart, and no option to scooch closer due to space. But again whatever. What bothered us was they sat 2 people. Just two, so we literally felt booted for no reason. They proceeded to just sit there for almost an hour just the 2. Their party wasn’t even all there when they booted us, and by the time the rest of their party showed up we were almost done eating and the restaurant had emptied…lots of seating options. They could have sat elsewhere until the rest of their party showed or like most places, waited until a table opened. Just in the future it’s not great to make some customers feel valued at the expense of others customers. Definitely gave us the vibe that certain types of customers are put above others. Our sever was polite although distracted, and food was fine. We’ve been here several times before and even brought new people to try it. It’s always been fine so that’s why...
