As I walked in the atmosphere is what grabbed my attention. Not to mention the wait time was non-existent. I walked in with two little ones and the hostess immediately sat me. High chairs were provided promptly as my son was kinda having a tantrum. I know you moms out there can relate.Anyway, the server Alejandro even helped me with my other son to sit him in the high chair. He quickly assessed the situation and knew I needed some help. As I apologized, he responded by patting my back and telling me it was okay. The emotional maturity on this man. I was so impressed. I ordered a lavender latte, kids got freshly squeezed orange juice which were both absolutely delicious. I then ordered the sourdough pancakes and arrachera steak. Both were superb. I did not wait long for my drinks or food. As we were done with our meals the plates were quickly picked up . My Mother’s Day was off to a good start because of this experience. Thank you to the staff , cooks and environment. But, more so to Alejandro. You left quite an impression. He even bagged my food, put my drinks to go and walked me to the door like a gentleman. The staff also was sweet enough to each personally wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. I don’t know if any other restaurant will ever provide me with this service. Thank you again! 💕 I’m a local to the area so I’ll definitely be back. Love that I have this gem in the...

I want to share my recent experience at neighbor good kitchen so others with disabilities don’t have to go through the same thing.
When I arrived with my service dog, the manager first asked if he was a service dog and the reason I have him. I answered honestly: yes, and he helps me manage my anxiety. By law (ADA), businesses may only ask two questions: Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
They are not allowed to ask about the nature of the disability.
I explained my dog was trained and kept him on the floor as requested. However, when he moved slightly to give space to staff near my table, the manager immediately rushed over, told me to leave, and even asked if I needed to be escorted out.
This made me feel unwelcome and singled out for having a service dog — something that should never happen. Service animals are protected under the ADA and are allowed in restaurants unless they are out of control or not housebroken, neither of which applied here.
I’m sharing this so others with disabilities know what to expect before visiting. Everyone deserves equal access without being...
Read moreI was so excited to visit this spot with a friend of mine who recommended it! The pictures looked so cute online! Upon arriving, there were already issues. First, it was hot. I had to fan myself with my menu to cool off. I get it, we're in El Paso but you would expect the air conditioner to work! Next, the service was lacking. My friend and I ordered our food which took quite a while to come out and then our server never returned to check if we needed anything. We had to flag him down so he could bring us boxes for our to go items and again when we needed the check!
The food is also lacking and the prices definitely do not reflect the quality. I paid $21 for a cashew, chicken bowl that was more than half regular white steamed rice that I could have made myself at home. The seating was crazy uncomfortable. The table I sat at was so low I couldn't cross my legs and was literally on my lap. The inside of the restaurant was cute but my friend remarked that much of the decor was the same as the restaurant that was there before it and they had just kept it the same.
I honestly don't know how this restaurant will survive El Paso with its sky high prices, poor food and lacking service. Very disappointed to...
