So I feel uniquely qualified to write this review because i've eaten at the original Grimaldi's in Brooklyn, another location in Queens, and now at this location in El Paso, Texas. The wild thing is, this pie isn't very different from the others. I actually preferred this location to the one in Queens. We ordered "The Don" (which is basically their meat lovers pie) and a Margherita Pie. Figured a pretty standard way to be able to tell if this would stand up to Brooklyn's location. So, this isn't Brooklyn, but that's okay. You can't expect to get a pizza thousands of miles away and expect it to be the same. It is however, very good, and SO much better than we expected to find in El Paso. The Don has lots of meat and a great flavor. The Margherita is exactly what you'd expect to get when you order one. The crust on both was thin and crunchy which I love, and the sauce to cheese ratio is on point. If i'm ever back in El Paso and craving pizza, no doubt where i'll be getting it from.

One of the top pizzas in ELP! We tried this place for the first time a fews weeks ago and had to come back! Although the pricing is high compared to my hometown, I understand it since it’s rare to find brick oven pizza here in ELP. The toppings are great and flavoring is great too. The arugula salad is also good. I can’t wait to try the desserts! My only critique is that the crust isn’t seasoned and once was just completely burned. For the service, the wait can be long to get seated and the pizza does take forever to come to your table. The servers are really nice and attentive though. Note that parking can be a pain! You may have to walk a bit to the restaurant if you go on the weekend. **UPDATE** Ever since I’ve gotten a response on my review the crust has been seasoned! Pizza tastes 10x better now and I respect this restaurant even more now.

My boyfriend and I went last night (24 Sept) for dinner. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, it was delicious. There was no wait, got seated right away. We had a coupon on the InKind app. We scanned the QR code on the receipt and paid. Our waitress came by asking for us to pay. We showed her we already did, she kept saying we didn't. We asked to speak with the manager to try to resolve this issue. She also kept saying we didn't pay. We showed her our app and bank statement saying the payment went through on both, that we weren't going to pay double. She was extremely rude, kept rolling her eyes saying we didn't pay. Then she just walked off in the middle of our conversation. Who the hell does that??? Not even an apology or anything. Our waitress was very attentive, and polite. I loved her. However, your management needs to be worked on!

Don't get me started with my take-out experience! Ugh... I was browsing the menu online for any vegan options, and I had to be in a meeting at 1:30 PM. So, instead of browsing the menu, I decided to call (I like to ask for suggestions). BIG MISTAKE.

The young lady greeted my call, and i asked her if they had any vegan options (this staryed at noon). She said,"Like...what do you mean?" So I explained I needed a completely plant based lunch option. She said, "Build your own pizza." I asked her about vegan friendly crusts, and then she said, "You'll be charged for each veggie toping." I thanked her and hung up. At 12:08 PM my coworker mentioned they have a cauliflower crust thats really good so I called back and ordered a cauliflower crust 12" pizza with sauce, no cheese, black olives, bell peppers and sun roasted tomatoes witha lemon arugula salad no cheese. She said, "Give us 35 minutes, and we will have it ready."

I arrived at 12:48 PM. I asked for my order, and they directed me to the takeout counter. The guy asked for my name, checked one of the bags on the counter, and he gave me my salad. He said, "Your pizza is out next." He gave me my tab, came back, processed the payment, and went on with his business.

At 1:00 p.m., i asked the young lady at the counter if she could just refund me the pizza because I couldn't wait anymore. She left her station, and i believe the manager came out and explained that my pizza was the next one out. I advised him that the waiter had said that about five minutes ago. I told him that they said 35 minutes, and he said i had placed my order at 12:36 PM. I showed him my call log proving the pizza was ordered at 1:12 PM and I still arrived ten minutes after the expexted time they provided me.band he addressed the oder going in late and stated that he would refund the pizza.he gave my the pizza and I waited again, then decided to leave at 1:10PM. I got to the office, and the pizza had cheese on it. FmL!!!

My tab was $40!!!

The service...

Wow! Look I’ve tasted the za from the holy land of pizza, New York…. I took one bite and my eyes began to rejoice with tears of gladness. How does one even rate the pizza, I’ll tell you, crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. This was our first time so we ordered the Don. Again I cried like a baby when I tasted that majestic glory, crust was seasoned and tasted of New York, (the water is the secret); the sauce was like flying to Italy for a great vacation in less than 30 minutes. Cheese, not greasy but PERFECT, whether it be the antipasto or even with the bruschetta, this was fresh cheese. Thick slices of pepperoni met with meatballs made the godfather a true life story to me. I’m also pretty sure that I heard Tommy from Goodfellas shooting the bus boy in the back here… I’m kidding. You have a customer for life if you keep up the same product. MUST EAT DINE IN FOR FULL EFFECT. If you order it to be delivered you’ll get only the faint ghosts of what the pizza is designed to be enjoyed with. Not a fan of pizza? Try the many salad options, the Cesar was to die for. (Yes I ordered that much food before I wrote this, but how else was I supposed to tell all of you how good this place was.) and it was gone before I could take a picture, and you know what, you’ll have to trust me in how good it looked, but for reference it matched the same quality pictures you’ll see on here. I’ll get desert next time, but until then...

First time in this place host Ana since the beginning NOT a Welcoming GREETING. It looked like she was having a bad day. I asked How long was the waiting list she said 30-45 min. I look at tables really empty. I then stated I could wait on the bar tables meanwhile I wait for the table. Myself and my girlfriend where approached by the Great attitude of the Bar tender. I then received a call more family was showing up to update my table seating I then Approached (ANA) the waiting Host. I told her I needed the table. Ana Told me I would need to step out of the building and cancel my order from the table & wait outside for the table to be available. I asked if I could stay and move me to the table when is ready. She said NO so I really didn't like that if I had already ordered. I decided to leave the place and canceled my order. Customer Service was NOT a 5 Star sorry Grimaldi's need better customer service with all your employees. Manager saw didn’t even stepped in or saw any of my concerned. Young manager didn't even say nothing just saw he went to the computer to cancel the order. Instead of taking leadership of the situation. I'm sure the food is great. I guess I wouldn't know...sadly and...
