I walked in with my fiance not really knowing what to expect. I like trying new places, cultures, and especially the food. After making our order and observing the restaurant and its atmosphere, I noticed that there was a level of elegance with both the establishment and the patrons. Other reviews didn't mention this, in not sure if it is only a dinner feel, or if lunch is this way as well. Everyone was well mannered and well dressed, the tone of conversation was formal. I really enjoyed both the atmosphere, and the food. The reason that I will only rate 4 stars is because the price is much higher than the value. The end of the evening cost $60 for 2 people dining.

So I ordered a take away from this store. I got chicken tikka masala (spicy) and cheese garlic naan. Keep in mind, it is El Paso! There is not a lot of competition when it comes to international food, including Indian cuisine unfortunately. The highlight of the meal was the cheese garlic naan! It is excellent and I would highly recommend. The tikka masala sauce was good tasting, and spice level is not too much. So don’t order mild or medium as these probably won’t be spicy at all. The chicken however was super dry. Like I’m eating a cardboard! If they fix the chicken issue and make it more juicy and tender, the plate would taste much better.

In general a very nice place to eat. The food was superior. We allowed our server to select whatever she felt we would like given our vegetarian parameters. She made excellent choices. There was so much food that we took home two full boxes and there is enough for two more meals. I could not tell you what we ate. I can just tell you it was excellent! Service was a bit slow, we had to ask twice for water, refills, and twice for boxes. The temperature in the restaurant was freezing. That’s should not deter you, wear sweaters!

I’ll start off by saying the food is absolutely delicious and incredible- SO yummy. The service we got was AWFUL! I think they may have a new server- he has no clue what he is doing, he was SO disorganized and had no manners at all. I’ve been in the food service industry for years, I’m generally pretty sympathetic with people who are just trying to do their job even if they aren’t awesome at it. We asked for a few replacements for desserts (example- no nuts on top) and he’d tell us they didn’t have dessert with no nuts- but on the menu it had like 3 desserts that didn’t have any nuts and he said no I know how they make it. Then why would a dessert that had nuts not state that on the menu? That’s legally needing to be stated, what you’re getting with the food? We asked for a plate without chili pepper, he said no, then said well I can ask I guess. Then we asked for a soda replacement instead of coffee, we don’t drink for religious reasons and he said no and then said he would ask. In every restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life they can replace things for allergies, or add or take away some items for preference, so I was shocked. I understand some things are premade, but he would say no and then backtrack and was very unsure. He put PIPING hot food over my babies head- a HUGE no no in the service industry, and right in front of my babies fingers!? He would go around and say things like you can tell me what you’d like I guess and then say okay guys remember who got what drink and food and I’m gonna have you guys pass it down with BURING HOT plates instead of him just going down and placing it for everyone considering we don’t have heat protection to grab it. He had no clue what he was doing and shouldn’t be in the service industry at all. Lastly he refused to split our check, we had two huge families and he said no I cannot do that. Don’t know what restaurant isn’t able to simply split a check.

I will say the food is excellent- the cooking staff seemed nice and accommodating- he is not, and he did not care about the customer. Usually service workers should TRY to help the customer out a little better, bring out ALL the food we order instead of us having to go ask him for the dessert that comes with the meal- he was not accommodating at all. I understand if restaurants can’t do that for everything, but he didn’t even want to try and seemed very confused and very new and rude. Perhaps they have better servers but I just needed to say something because his service will drive...

If I could give it less I would!! My husband and I went for the first time this past Tuesday. As we walked in, the server asked how many and after we said two she rolled her eyes and acted like it was such an inconvenience to seat us and give us menu's. We then waited 20 minutes to have our drink order taken. After our drinks finally arrived and we ordered, it took them another 30 minutes to bring out our TWO samosas, and another hour and a half for our entree. Once it got to us, the food was cold , we asked to have it heated and it was brought back cold again. I asked for refills on our drinks and that was another 15 minute wait. We noticed a group of men walk in, and the owner immediately sprint over and say hi. They were seated and delivered drinks within the first 5 minutes. Their food order was taken and delivered within 10 minutes tops. Meanwhile when we asked for a to go container, we were asked if we really needed one or if we wanted to finish there. When I said we wanted it again we were told "I guess.", and waited another 15 minutes. After we got the check, which was the only thing that was delivered to us promptly, the owner came over and told us he was sorry but needed my card again because he charged us for the wrong ticket and needed to charge the difference. The ticket he gave us to look at was ours, however when he got to the machine he put in a different amount. When we asked why that happened he said, "I was chatting with my friends and got distracted.", then pointed to the table with the gentlemen that came in after us. How is it my fault that you were too busy with them to pay attention to what you are doing? I informed him I would be writing this review and posting it on Yelp and he laughed. I decided to be the bigger person and pay the remainder and leave. Worst experience ever!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my...

Usually love this place. I’ve been going since I was a kid. I have one thing to say though for anyone that goes here or gets food to go (probably more of an issue for to go orders). CHECK YOUR RICE. the rice that came with my order, (first off only received portion for one entree not 2).The real issue was that it was spoilt !!!!! Wasn’t able to tell easily after dumping my palak paneer on it, but after feeling the texture, I tasted/smelled a bit by itself and realized. Felt sick the whole night and ended up puking my guts out in the morning and I pride myself on my iron stomach.

This issue is more than likely not an issue with the cooks, realistically it’s the manager or owner attempting to combat food waste by freezing and defrosting unused portions of rice maybe even specifically for Togo orders.

I’m just putting this out there so that if anyone else receives something similar they can hold them accountable. I called and asked to speak to the manager and did and they offered to replace the rice, which would be fine for overcooked rice, but for sending out an order of spoilt rice????? I didn’t even call looking for a refund or anything, just wanted to let them know just in case they were giving that batch of rice to other people.

anyways I love the food here, great stuff, but this was a massive...
