If I could give a ZERO Rating I would!!!! Posting this review for my horrible experience on Thursday October 20th, 2022 at the Jack in the box location off montwood. For the shift working between 10-11am in the morning. I placed an order on the app for this location using my reward points for a free sandwich. (KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE REWARD POINTS EARNED BY SPENDING MY OWN MONEY).. The workers refused to make my sandwich even after showing them multiple times on my phone that my order had indeed been placed for THIS location and it stated my food would be ready between 5-7 minutes and my points had been deducted from my account. The staff clamied they would not make it unless the order appeared on their screen. And they are not responsible for things that occur in the app. After about 20 minutes the lead manager named Kevin agreed to FINALLY make me the sandwich. He later changed his mind for no reason and decided to not make me anything and call the police instead. Can you believe that? Might I add I was polite and calm with the staff the ENTIRE TIME. I know what it's like to work fast food it isn't easy.. I was respectful and courteous the entire time I was in line. I was at the drive thru window for a total of 40 minutes!! That's ridiculous!!!! I showed multiple employees the Jack in the box app on my phone that indeed showed my order was actually Processed!! So I ended up leaving with no food and being charged $6.00 on my app for reward points. I have the receipt that Manager Kevin gave me that shows he was indeed going to make it for me but he decided to tell me the receipt isn't actually valid and he was only giving it to me as a joke so I could just leave already. WOW! He kept laughing at me and closing the window while I was talking to him. I have to say I regularly visit locations like dyer and Montana and never experience issues like this. I hope this can be resolved because I honestly felt harassed and extremely ashamed of this establishment. It was not a good experience for me at all. I could not believe what was happening over a sandwich that I PAID FOR.. Coming from a long time jack in the box fan I'm...
Read moreDecided to stop by for a quick bite. I was craving the curly fries and needed my fix. I went during lunchtime and it was busy, about an 8 car wait at the drive thru. I decided to wait as curly fry fantasy awaited. After about ten minutes I finally get to the window only to hear the person on the intercom advise me that they were only taking cash. This obviously had to wait after I had already waited ten minutes to place my order. I don't carry cash so I decided to go to another Jack in the box. I still had to wait several more minutes for the driver ahead of me to receive their order. I drove another 13 minutes to the other Jack in the box because I really wanted those fries. I drove up and started placing my order and the attendant apparently couldn't hear me so she had me yelling into the window for several minutes. She then just asked me to drive up. I repeated my order again and she provided me a total. She didn't apologize for the defective equipment or having me have to tell out at the drive thru. I asked her if she could provide some fresh fries as the last time I received many tiny pieces of fries. She responded by saying "or food is always fresh" then slammed the window. I laughed and proceeded to drive up and pay because the prior attendant couldn't take my card cause her machine was broken. They asked my to drive up because my bowels weren't ready. I waited again. Finally my meal was provided. Of course when I got home all I got was a bunch of pieces of fries. Truly upsetting. I will not go to Jack in the box...
Read moreI went to this location during the day the other day and received excellent service. The guy at the window even smiled when handing me my order. I know it's a small thing, but a little kindness goes a long way - you never know what someone is dealing with. Well, tonight, 06/16/2023, I had the opposite experience. I understand that it's a Friday night & this location can be very busy; that's not the problem. After paying for my order, the next window had a woman working, and she was handing the orders out. I had a drink with my order - she handed me my order & shut the window. There was no straw in the bags she gave me, so I motioned to her. She opened the window, I asked for a straw & she looked like I was bothering her. I said, "Thank you, I'm sorry," she handed the straw to me & shut the window before I completed my apology for the inconvenience. I will be back at some point, but if this lady acted that way with me, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Also, a customer should not feel as if they have to apologize for asking for a straw with their drink in the drive thru.
I don't know her name, but someone needs to tell her to get some therapy or something; customers wanting a straw in order to be able to drink their soda or tea in the car are not her enemies. I'd hate to see her in a "bad...
